Top of Europe
Amazing trip. Angela looked after us, informative, friendly and clear instruction kept us on time. And Carlos (I hope that is correct) our bus driver did a great job. The top of Europe is a MUST SEE!!!! Amazing!!!

It was a fantastic tour. Dario’s clear English commentary made it very enjoyable for me, even though I was participating on my own. Elias, the driver, was incredibly kind and considerate of my needs. I would love to join a tour with this company again.

Amazing Tour!!
This was definitely the best tour of our vacation. It’s a long 12-hour trip — not cheap, but absolutely worth every cent. You can book it with complete confidence. It’s not just about reaching the Top of Europe (Jungfraujoch); the journey itself is part of the experience, with stunning scenery along the way there and back. The transportation includes a combination of bus, cable car, cogwheel train on the way up, panoramic train on the way down, and a final return by bus. Our guide, Andrea, and her assistant, Yuxia, shared a lot of interesting information throughout the entire day. They were very friendly and attentive, answering all our questions and offering great tips. We had an unexpected delay on the way back and had to take a detour, which made the return to Zurich longer than planned, but our driver handled everything with great responsibility.

An Interesting. Two Days in the Pouring Rain!
Excellent driving by bus drivers under very wet roads & slippery conditions through a very mountainous area. Safety was a top priority. Interesting commentary on the part of the tour guides who were both courteous & helpful. Serious overcrowding going up to the Jungfraujoch.
Response from the operator: Dear John, Thank you very much for joining our multi-day tour of Jewels of the Alps, and for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re pleased to hear that you felt safe and well looked after during the journey. Our drivers are highly experienced and trained to prioritise passenger safety, especially in challenging road and weather conditions, so your kind words are much appreciated. It’s also great to hear that you found the commentary interesting and that our tour guides made a positive impression and helped you throughout the day. We regret to hear, however, that the experience at the Jungfraujoch was affected by overcrowding. As the region’s most visited mountain destination, the Jungfraujoch can get quite busy, especially during high season and peak travel hours. While we do our best to time our visits strategically, we unfortunately have no control over the number of other visitors at the summit, as access is managed by the Jungfrau Railways. We hope that despite the crowds, you were still able to enjoy the incredible views and unique atmosphere at Europe’s highest railway station. We wish you a wonderful rest of your stay in Switzerland and hope to welcome you back in the future. Best regards, Magdalena from Best of Switzerland Tours

2-Day Jungfraujoch Top of Europe Tour from Zurich: Interlaken or Grindelwald: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Zurich.
How much does 2-Day Jungfraujoch Top of Europe Tour from Zurich: Interlaken or Grindelwald cost?
+
Prices start at $262 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Zurich usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 2-Day Jungfraujoch Top of Europe Tour from Zurich: Interlaken or Grindelwald take?
+
Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Zurich is not rushed.
Is 2-Day Jungfraujoch Top of Europe Tour from Zurich: Interlaken or Grindelwald worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 50 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in Zurich, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 2-Day Jungfraujoch Top of Europe Tour from Zurich: Interlaken or Grindelwald?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is 2-Day Jungfraujoch Top of Europe Tour from Zurich: Interlaken or Grindelwald suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 2-Day Jungfraujoch Top of Europe Tour from Zurich: Interlaken or Grindelwald?
+
Around 18 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Zurich can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Zurich and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 2-Day Jungfraujoch Top of Europe Tour from Zurich: Interlaken or Grindelwald start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Zurich within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Zurich?
+
On Outty we rank every Zurich experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Zurich Food Tour with 10 Local Delicacies, Cheeses & Chocolates, Private, excellent guided tour of Zurich (from CHF 21/pers.), Zürich Historic District Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Zurich?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Zurich?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
