Manaslu circuit with teens - Perfectly organized and made to a "Once-in-a-lifetime-Experience"
The Great Adventure Treks and Expedition Pvt.Ltd. organized a complete trekking on the Manaslu circuit, including fantastic hotel (Hotel Everest Nepal) in Kathmandu, all transfers, guide, porters, accommodation, meals, permits,.... Everything was very well organized and the best available teahouses were chosen. So my daughters and I could enjoy two weeks of outstanding landscapes, impressive insights in the local culture, delicious foods and so on. We would like to thank especially our guide Santosh, who has always cared for us in a very kind and in every possible way. His explanations of the landscape, culture, local traditions and religion were very interesting and his recommendations according acclimatization, choice of food and so on very valuable. Without exaggeration I can say: he is the best guide I ever met and I hardly can image anyone doing better. As a summary I strongly recommend any trekker to get in contact with The Great Adventure Treks and Expeditions for the organization of any tour or trek in Nepal, Bhutan or Tibet. - Our journey with them was a "Once-in-a-lifetime-Experience", which we will remember for decades, I guess.

Best trekking and guide!
One of the best treks of my life! My guide, Binod, is so sweet and passionate about his job and knows everything. Without him this would’ve been such a different experience, because he always makes sure you’re happy and comfortable. The organisation was also perfect so I didn’t have to worry about a single thing. Perfect👌

Manaslu Circuit Trek
We completed 14 days Manaslu Circuit Trek with “The Great Adventure Treks & Expedition Pvt. Ltd” and the experience was truly amazing. Initially My husband and I when we were landed at Nepal airport we had no known tour agency. Then in Thamel, Kathmandu, we found them luckily. After discussing with the managing director, Mr. Mani, then we decided to go for 14 days “Manaslu Circuit Trek” and the experience we had totally amazing. The trekking guide Mr. Jayaram KNC, he was truly professional, knowledgeable and very much supportive in making wise decision for us during the whole trek. Secondly Mr. Shunil Jethara, our porter, he was also a helpful and supportive, kind, and ready to help, no matter how tough the trail got. We really appreciated his strength and dedication throughout the trek. The whole team felt like family by the end. A heartfelt thank you “The Great Adventure” team for making this trek one of the best memorable experiences of our life. We would definitely recommend “The Great Adventure treks” to anyone looking for a supportive, trustworthy, and truly delightful trekking experience in Nepal.

Manaslu and Tsum Valley- Wonderful experience organized by a great trekking company!
Leave your western ideas, attitudes and expectations behind. Enter Nepal with an open mind, heart, and spirit. Be flexible and embrace a culture that will leave you in awe. I picked a trusted trekking company, The Great Adventure, Treks and Expeditions, and they provided everything I needed to explore the mountains, including permits, guide and porter. My guide, Santosh, was with me for 22 days, as we trekked to reach elevations over 5000 meters; completing Tsum Valley and Manaslu Circuit. He paced my trek and allowed me to experience Nepal’s incredible mountains. Everyday, I knew where we were going and what to expect. He asked about my preferences for activities along the route. My guide was knowledgeable about the area, spoke wonderful English, and answered my many questions. My porter, Binod, was also from the area, and introduced me to his many family and friends, along the route. At times, the trails were steep, narrow, and rocky. There were people, donkeys, horses, mules, and yaks, carrying large loads. My team, were always aware of the trail and provided safety, as I navigated a new environment. My accommodations were all different and provided nice places to eat and rest. My guide and porter were well received. Tsum Valley is remote and I had the opportunity to experience festival time, and village life during harvest season. Flexibility allowed me to stay at Mu Gumpa Monastery overnight. I was left humbled and in awe of the work and spirituality of the local people in the many, diverse communities I encountered. I highly recommend this trip!

Why this scores 76
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
14 days Manaslu Circuit Trekking: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.
How much does 14 days Manaslu Circuit Trekking cost?
+
Prices start at $227 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 14 days Manaslu Circuit Trekking take?
+
Plan for about 336 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.
Is 14 days Manaslu Circuit Trekking worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 13 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 14 days Manaslu Circuit Trekking?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 14 days Manaslu Circuit Trekking suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 14. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 336-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book 14 days Manaslu Circuit Trekking?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 336-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 14 days Manaslu Circuit Trekking start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?
+
On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Manaslu Circuit Trek, Kathmandu Food and Drink Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kathmandu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
