Awesome tour guides

Pros: Our tour guides were fantastic! Sammy took us through the national parks and reserves in Kenya and we got to see all of the big five. He told us when he recommended us to wait and watch and when we should just go ahead. He always got us a prime viewing spot for lions, the great migration, etc. He also knew all of the other tour guides so he navigated us really well around all the parks. Emmanuel, our tour guide in Tanzania, had a more deliberate pace which worked out since we had already seen everything we wanted to see. His great wealth of knowledge was really helpful in learning more about the smaller animals. Our hotels by the national parks and in Nairobi were also excellent. We also appreciated how all the transportation from place to place were all arranged. Cons: I would modify this itinerary so there is no extra day between Maasai Mara and Serengeti. You can do that drive in one day rather than staying at the border. I would also add an extra day in Zanzibar. We also asked for a hike rather than the last park because it was much easier to see all the animals than we had thought. George, the manager, did his best- I definitely had to remind him of what was included, etc. The number of meals included is not correct and you will have to pay more because this is a 14-day itinerary, which is 2 more days than it states on the title. But, as long as you communicate and advocate, this is a good price and itinerary.

Response from the operator: Hello Dustin, Thanks for taking your valuable time to write to us such an impresssive review with a 5 star rating. We are glad to to hear you enjoyed your 14 Days safari in Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar . Our guides Sammy and Emmanuel are among our best proffessional guides due to there much experience in the site, they are always very knowledgeable and always very informative. We are pleased you enjoyed the whole safari, game drives, accommondations and meals. Our main objective always is to provide best services to our clients. For the little inconviniences we really apiologise, we have look at the itinerary and we will work on it accordingly. We are at ease that our Manager George took a step and sort out the issue. He is always available at any given point to tackle any issue which might arises . We really hope to serve youy again in the near future. Regards, Faith

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nairobi.

How much does 14 Days Maasai Mara, Serengeti and Zanzibar Tour from Nairobi cost?

+

Prices start at $1 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nairobi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 14 Days Maasai Mara, Serengeti and Zanzibar Tour from Nairobi take?

+

Plan for about 336 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nairobi is not rushed.

Is 14 Days Maasai Mara, Serengeti and Zanzibar Tour from Nairobi worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 1 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nairobi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 14 Days Maasai Mara, Serengeti and Zanzibar Tour from Nairobi?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 14 Days Maasai Mara, Serengeti and Zanzibar Tour from Nairobi suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 336-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 14 Days Maasai Mara, Serengeti and Zanzibar Tour from Nairobi?

+

Around 0 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nairobi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nairobi and add a light layer if any part of the 336-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 14 Days Maasai Mara, Serengeti and Zanzibar Tour from Nairobi start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nairobi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Nairobi?

+

On Outty we rank every Nairobi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 3 days group joining safari to Maasai Mara with a Land Cruiser Jeep, 1 Day trip to Hells Gate and optional Lake Naivasha From Nairobi, Nairobi Masai village Day Tour Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Nairobi?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Nairobi?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
