Camptrek Safaris excelled in providing a brilliant itinerary customised to our preferences and offered excellent and professional service from the first enquiry to our final footsteps on African soil. The many National Parks were beautiful and unique and our expert and friendly guides took great care and patience to ensure that we saw as much wildlife as possible. Those only wanting to see the Big 5 won’t be disappointed but we enjoyed the smaller, more difficult to find, birds and mammals that were as equally exciting. The accommodation was varied but each lodge offered a very high standard of comfort, service and location. The vehicles are built to tackle all terrains and we three had plenty of space and visibility. Well done all at Camptrek Safaris - we shall definitely travel with you in the future!

CAMPTREK MAKING AFRICAN DREAMS AND FEELINGS COME TRUE, THEY ARE THE BEST

My partner and I have just returned to Australia (Sept 2025) still "star gazing" following our 15-Day Ultimate Epic Kenya and Tanzania Luxury Safari. Keeping in mind our ages 67 and 73 years old. Guides who are prepared to share their extensive knowledge of the wildlife, animals, birds and the surroundings, guides who if they can't answer a question go out of their way to find out the answer and get back to you with the answer and that nothing is too much trouble. Guides who when you ask them politely to stop because you are an amateur photographer wanting to take those everlasting memories are happy to stop with a smile. Our two guides, Eric whom we had in Kenya and Isay in Tanzania were outstanding in every way. They did and were happy to do everything I have mentioned above, it felt like we had known them for a very long time, they made our trip a success and we are very grateful and appreciated to have shared our time in Africa with them, they were simply the best guides that we could have asked for. Wonderful trip - Knowledgeable Driver/Guides - Excellent service.

Our contact at Camptrek - Margaret, was very responsive replying to our many questions prior to the trip. She provided suggestions and options that were very helpful. Due to border crossings between Kenya and Tanzania, we had three separate driver/guides. Each were very knowledgeable about the areas we chose, but also very helpful and engaging. It is almost surreal how they can spot animals and anticipate their next movement. Our experience with Camptrak Safaris was excellent. Great service as well as good value for the overall cost. Would definitely recommend Camptrek to anyone looking for a Safari adventure in the Kenya/Tanzania region.

The best 15 day safari with Camptrek Safaris 🩷

Our 15 day safari in Kenya and Tanzania was absolutely fantastic!!! Even though I read the overview and saw all the pictures, I really had no idea what I was in for. We had 7 people, 2 jeeps and WOW what a dream!!! First of all, John put together an amazing schedule and is so kind, professional and knowledgeable. It really wasn’t just a Safari as I had imagined… it was meeting so many kind people, learning about their culture, seeing and learning about the animals up close from guides with so much knowledge and getting excited from their excitement for what we were seeing! Elephants, 3 types of giraffes, 2 types of zebras, wildebeest, lions, cheetahs, leopards, pumbas, hippopotamus, rhinoceros, baboons, hyenas, monkeys, all kinds of birds, water buffalo, acacia trees and baobab trees (tree of life)….just wow. All of our guides were the best! Thank you John, Anthony, Eric, Good Luck, Hamisi, and Anthony #2! The first day we went to an elephant orphanage and giraffe center, then off we went to Samburu, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, Masai Mara (and did the unforgettable sunrise hot air balloon/ breakfast), Serengeti, Tarangire and Amboselli National Parks. We got to learn and meet people from the Masai, the Hedzabe (nomadic) and the Datoga (blacksmith) tribes. The places we stayed were just terrific, I can’t say enough. And honestly, I was worried if there would be decent food for me as a vegan. Well there were so many options and very delicious! They accommodate for anyone’s dietary needs everywhere we went. It was such a beautiful trip. We were sad to say goodbye to what felt like family. Camptrek Safaris is the best and I would recommend them to anyone going on safari!
