My group of 11 pax had a wonderful 14 days Kenya, Tanzania & Zanzibar private tour! I arrived directly with Camptrek through Margaret. The prices are reasonable, good value for the safari & beach holidays we want. They Took care of us from beginning to end. The guides are exceptional and very knowledgeable. Kudos to Jon, Ben, Tin, Simon & Shawbani! I highly recommend this company. Don’t hesitate to book, they are amazing!!

Unforgettable wildlife safari with the best guide
Our family of four, including two teenagers, spent 14 unforgettable days on safari with Camp Trek, and we couldn't have been happier with the experience. From the very beginning, everything was organized perfectly. Every transfer, the great accommodations, and activity worked exactly as planned, and the entire trip ran without a single issue. We also appreciated travelling in a modern, comfortable, and well-maintained safari car. However, what truly makes or breaks a safari is the guide. We were incredibly fortunate to have Pili Pili as our guide. He is simply outstanding - champions league! For him, guiding is not just a job—it is clearly his passion. His knowledge of wildlife is exceptional, and he shared fascinating insights about the animals, the landscapes, the culture, and the people of Kenya. We learned so much every single day. On top of that, Pili Pili is an extremely safe and considerate driver. He treats both wildlife and people with great respect, and always made us feel comfortable and secure. We cannot imagine a better guide and would recommend Camp Trek anytime. If you have the chance to request Pili Pili, do it!

A Perfect East African Safari Adventure
I was late to the start and didn't think we could pull it off. But Kayla and the team made it happen anyway, adjusting everything behind the scenes without missing a beat. Our Kenya & Tanzania safari was beyond perfect, hassle-free, breathtaking, and expertly guided. Highly recommend!

An Unforgetable Experience!
Our safari was entitled: 14-DAY SPIRIT & SOUL OF KENYA AND TANZANIA EPIC SAFARI. My brother and I began planning this safari adventure in September 2025. We researched many safari companies, and enquired about safaris with a few of them. After careful consideration, we decided on Camptrek Safaris and are more than pleased and satisfied. Each request for this custom-made safari was fulfilled. Rose has a wealth of information & a great help with initial planning & itinerary adjustments. We visited the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Masai Mara National Park, Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Amboseli National Park. The accommodations were tented camps in most places. This was expected, as many of them are in the park and there are no fancy hotels. Very comfortable rooms/tents, all with toilets and showers & were more than satisfactory. The price for this 2 week safari was very fair. Our first driver/guide, Samuel, was very informative in describing the animal behavior and excellent in spotting them! These first game drives were absolulty AMAZING. Samuel was excellent in getting to where the animals were & even spotted all of the Big 5 on our second day! We had to change drivers at the Tanzania border, and Alex, our new driver was excellent as well. We spent 2 days in the Central Serengeti and 2 more days in the Southern Serengeti, a full day in each location. Alex was a great spotter, enabling us to see the Big 5 again, as well as lots of wildebeest and calves! Then back to the Kenyan border and another driver. John, our new driver, was as excellent as the other two. Our destination wih him was Ngorongoro Crater & Amboseli National Park. On our final day, John drove us to the Nairobi airport, met there by Rose. Then onward back home. I cannot say enough great things about Camptrek Safaris. They met all of our expectations above and beyond & provided a lifetime of cherised memories! Seeing hundreds of different safari companies while on the game drives, cannot imagine any of them could be better than Camptrek Safaris. A very special thanks to our travel coordinator Rose, and our three drivers - Samuel, Alex, and John.

Why this scores 58
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
14 Day Kenya and Tanzania Safari Adventure: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nairobi.
How much does 14 Day Kenya and Tanzania Safari Adventure cost?
+
Prices start at $13,210 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nairobi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 14 Day Kenya and Tanzania Safari Adventure take?
+
Plan for about 336 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nairobi is not rushed.
Is 14 Day Kenya and Tanzania Safari Adventure worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nairobi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 14 Day Kenya and Tanzania Safari Adventure?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 14 Day Kenya and Tanzania Safari Adventure suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 336-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 14 Day Kenya and Tanzania Safari Adventure?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nairobi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nairobi and add a light layer if any part of the 336-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 14 Day Kenya and Tanzania Safari Adventure start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nairobi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Nairobi?
+
On Outty we rank every Nairobi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Wild 5-Day Safari: Magical Mara, Nakuru Wonders & Hell's Gate, 2 Days Amboseli Safari using a 4x4 Landcruiser jeep(with options), Kibera Slum Tour with Lucas. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Nairobi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Nairobi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in 14 Day Kenya and Tanzania Safari Adventure?
+
Included: Private transportation; Entrance fees; Lunch; Dinner; and Drinking Water. Not included: tips; Flight tickets to and from home; and visa. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.
Does 14 Day Kenya and Tanzania Safari Adventure include hotel pickup?
+
Yes, pickup is offered for every traveler from 3 listed pickup locations in and around Nairobi. Be ready about 60 minutes before the start time. You can also enter a custom pickup address when booking.
What languages is 14 Day Kenya and Tanzania Safari Adventure offered in?
+
It is offered in German, English, Italian, French and Spanish. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.
Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for 14 Day Kenya and Tanzania Safari Adventure?
+
Confirmation is sent by the operator after booking, usually within 48 hours; if it is not confirmed you are not charged. Mobile tickets are accepted, so you can show the voucher on your phone.
