First Safari, Completely Amazing operator!
This was our first safaris in Africa, so we had to reach out to several tour operators before settling on Silver Spark Africa as our tour agent in both Kenya and Tanzania. With Silver Spark Africa, our communication was straight, easy, on time and documents shared with details of our tour were of great quality. Our driver and guide were on time each day, very polite and understanding all through the tour, nice and always smiling. We had a good game drive and greatly appreciated Samwel, as our guide, he knew the animals and names. The jeep was great, we had no trouble with the vehicle, even during the second day, when it rained heavily in Maasai Mara, we never stayed stuck and our Samwel was a pretty good driver! We had a great Safari tour and we loved Maasai Mara, Bongoria, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. In Bongoria, Samwel always took the time to bring us where he thought we would see birds and animals, we are such animal lovers that he did that extra mile for us in Lake Nakuru on the morning of us leaving for Lake Elementaita. The accommodations that were booked across all parks and reserves were all nice and some were incredible, like the Kilima Lodge in Amboseli, Lake Nakuru lodge and Tukaone Serengeti center. All the meals we ate were delicious, at the hotels and even as box lunches because we had the Big Lunch Box with "hot complete meals" and cardboard box lunches. That was great, we really appreciated Silver Spark Africa.
Response from the operator: Thanks so much for your feedback. We are extremely value your writing’s and duly consider your rating and viewpoint on our general service. We bound to improve and keep the safaris service up to its five stars. It is amazing that you have wonderful things to say about the beauty, comfort and conveniences of booking with Silver Spark Africa Safaris ltd. We appreciate your recommendations and stars on the safari service rating. Thank you!

Lack of honesty and greed ruined my vacation and trust
Please do NOT trust this Saffari company. I booked 8k worth of 19 days Safari with them, we were given a run down van in Kenya, no water for one day and moved to Tanzania in the most horrible local road to avoid toll fee in highway. I would have let it all go, what happened on last part in Zanzibar left me speechless, instead of sending us to the hotel that we paid for in a swimable ocean we were sent to a cheaper hotel that is religious hotel near a beach full of weeds . Last 8 months, manager Abongo kept promising to return 300 dollars in nearly 50 msg exchanges . I am giving up now and returned my friend his share by myself. I regret choosing this company and trusting them .

An unforgettable Adventure !
We had the chance to do our booked 14 days Safaris across Kenya and Tanzania all we had was great and were above expectations from the hotels, the airport transfer, camps and lodging. All our game drive both in the Maaasai Mara and Serengeti National Park was great we had water bottles through our trip. We did more than five game parks during our vacation, all was great. The accommodations were comfortable and well chosen, the food was delicious and our guides, Peter and Waziri were professional, friendly and passionate about nature and conservation. If you're looking for a diverse, adventure filled and truly immersive safari experience this is the trip for you. Highly recommended!

Most outstanding Team!
We booked our Safari with Silver Spark Africa last minute during the travelling season. Kepha and Abongo were very responsive and also accommodated our budget by creating a new plan us. Our guide David was good on his driving skill, keen and more observing. At every stop in each park, David, told us about the animals and showing us all the different between plants. He had a minivan with a pop-up roof 4x4 a four-wheel drive so comfortable and we got to see all the animals. On the last day, due to heavy rain, we could move so fast but he made it work and dropped us off directly to the airport after passing by the office to see Abongo for the last time. Our accommodation. Lodges/camps we stayed at were also way better than we expected from the reviews, and that was a pleasant surprise. Highly recommend their five-star service.

Incredible safari experience
We arranged a 15 night safari to Kenya and Tanzania with Silver spark Safari. We were quite late arranging this but Obongo made it easy and answered all our questions, there were a lot! We were picked up at the airport and taken to our accommodation for the first night where Obongo had made sure they would have some dinner still waiting for us, despite it being very late. The next morning David came to meet us and we set off to Masai mara. On arriving we did a walk to the local masai village which was a great experience. The next day was our first game drive at Masai mara and we had the most incredible day, we saw all the animals we could have hoped for, besides the illusive rhino. It felt like the action did not stop all day and David was so knowledgeable about all the animals and birds. From here we travelled to Lake Nakuru where we had an evening game drive and saw flamingos, lions and rhino. The next day we travelled on to Lake Elementaita where did a bird watching walk with Zachary, who had amazing knowledge and bird call skills! We travelled on to Amboseli and had two days here and saw so many elephants, as well as lots of other animals, with the backdrop of Kilimanjiro. From here we travelled to the border to cross over to Tanzania. We were very sad to say goodbye to David who had taken such good care of us. We met our new guide Maurice and were also pleased to see Obongo and Soombe who had come to ensure the border crossing went smoothly! We had a short game drive in Tarangire with the beautiful baobao trees and then moved on to the Serengeti. We had an incredible stay at Tukaone Luxury Serengeti Camps for two nights. These were luxury and we were very lucky to be able to watch the sun set followed by a storm from bed on our first evening here. Again we saw so many animals whilst here. We did have some trouble with the vehicle which required a stop at a garage in the serengeti, but this could not be helped. We then spent our last day of safari at Ngorongoro which was perhaps the best scenery of our trip with so many animals to be seen. From here we headed to Arusha to catch our flight to Zanzibar. We were again met by Soombe to ensure getting through the airport went to plan. We then had an amazing four nights at Zanzibar retreat hotel. This was such a beautiful place to stay right on the beach with a small number of guests and incredible food. We added an extra night to our stay in Zanzibar and wish we had added more! Overall our whole trip was more than we could have wished for. The service from Silver spark was great, from Obongo being so helpful whilst organising everything and the care we received from him and Soombe making sure our travels went smoothly throughout our trip. Our guides were fantastic and it was great getting to know them whilst learning about the animals as well as local culture and language. David and Maurice were also great when we got unwell during the trip, checking in on how we were and getting us to pharmacies for help with this. Whilst this trip does involve a lot of driving/travelling we were blown away by the landscapes and amount of animals we saw and all of the scenery in different parks. We cannot recommend them more highly and hope to be able to come back to do another trip with you soon!

Why this scores 57
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
14-Day Serengeti Maasai Mara Amboseli Tarangire Zanzibar: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nairobi.
How much does 14-Day Serengeti Maasai Mara Amboseli Tarangire Zanzibar cost?
+
Prices start at $5100 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nairobi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 14-Day Serengeti Maasai Mara Amboseli Tarangire Zanzibar take?
+
Plan for about 336 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nairobi is not rushed.
Is 14-Day Serengeti Maasai Mara Amboseli Tarangire Zanzibar worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nairobi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 14-Day Serengeti Maasai Mara Amboseli Tarangire Zanzibar?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 14-Day Serengeti Maasai Mara Amboseli Tarangire Zanzibar suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 9. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 336-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book 14-Day Serengeti Maasai Mara Amboseli Tarangire Zanzibar?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nairobi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nairobi and add a light layer if any part of the 336-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 14-Day Serengeti Maasai Mara Amboseli Tarangire Zanzibar start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nairobi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Nairobi?
+
On Outty we rank every Nairobi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 3 days group joining safari to Maasai Mara with a Land Cruiser Jeep, 1 Day trip to Hells Gate and optional Lake Naivasha From Nairobi, Nairobi Masai village Day Tour Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Nairobi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Nairobi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
