Incredible Honeymoon

My husband and I just completed the safari portion of our honeymoon and everything we experienced was far beyond any expectation we had about how amazing this trip would be. We booked with Lion King Adventures and had an incredible tour guide named Yusuph who was so kind and accommodating the entire trip. He was also extremely knowledgeable and educated us about every animal we saw along with different habitats that we would drive by. He always checked in on us during our drive to make sure we were comfortable and happy. I would definitely recommend booking with lion king adventures, and if you get Yusuph as your driver it will be the best bonus!

The Adventure of a Lifetime!

From the outset, it was very easy to deal with Elia and Naurey from Lion King Adventures, They were always quick and most helpful in responding to any of our queries. This was our first time in Africa and our first Safari. We couldn't have asked for a better guide than Salim. He was so knowledgeable, so friendly and so patient. It was like being driven round by a good friend. He worked so incredibly hard to ensure we saw everything we wished to see. We did! We saw so much more than we could ever have expected. Salim always knew where to go to get the best photo and always took time to make sure that we did. We stayed at some wonderful accommodations - in particular, the Nyota Serengeti. The accommodation was outstanding and the staff were amazing. It was lovely to relax in Zanzibar after all the excitement of the Safari week. Thank you Lion King for the adventure of a lifetime that we will never forget.

10/10 Honeymoon Safari in Tanzania – Exceptional Service and an Outstanding Guide, Hamadi

We booked our private Tanzania honeymoon safari and Zanzibar holiday with Lion King Adventures, covering the Northern Safari Circuit from Arusha through Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara, the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, followed by a stay in Stone Town and at The Mora Zanzibar. From the first stages of planning until the end of our safari, the entire experience was exceptional. The organisation before our trip was excellent. Communication with the Lion King Adventures office in Arusha was always quick, friendly and uncomplicated. Every question was answered clearly, changes to our itinerary were handled smoothly, and shortly before and during the trip we could also communicate directly via WhatsApp, which was incredibly useful for last-minute questions. For such an important honeymoon trip, having that level of accessibility and reassurance made a huge difference. The absolute highlight, however, was our private safari guide Hamadi. Hamadi was fantastic from beginning to end. His knowledge of Tanzanian wildlife is remarkable — not simply identifying animals, but explaining their behaviour, habitat, social structures and the small details that made every sighting much more interesting. Whether we were watching elephants in Tarangire, exploring Lake Manyara, looking for predators on the plains of the Serengeti, or discovering the wildlife of the Ngorongoro Crater, he always had something fascinating to explain. What particularly impressed us was how well connected Hamadi clearly is throughout the Tanzanian safari community. He has excellent relationships with other guides and with people working at the lodges and regularly exchanged information about animal movements and sightings. That local network, combined with his own experience, genuinely added another level to our safari. At the same time, he always showed enormous respect for the animals and the national parks. There was never a feeling of simply racing from one sighting to another or disturbing wildlife for the sake of a photograph. Hamadi understood when to wait, when to move on and how to position the vehicle while still respecting the animals and their environment. Most importantly, our safari never felt like a standard package tour. Hamadi very quickly understood what interested us and adapted each day accordingly. Our private bespoke Tanzania safari felt genuinely tailored to us — sometimes spending longer with a particular animal, exploring another area of the park or adjusting the rhythm of the day depending on what was happening around us. That flexibility was exactly what we had hoped for when booking a private honeymoon safari. The accommodation throughout the safari was excellent, and the transition from the safari to Zanzibar was also very well organised. After the Northern Circuit, we flew to Zanzibar and spent a wonderful night in Stone Town, which was a perfect change of atmosphere after several days on safari. We then continued to The Mora Zanzibar, where we are now enjoying the relaxing beach part of our honeymoon. The contrast between the wildlife experience on the mainland, the history and atmosphere of Stone Town and the resort experience on Zanzibar has made the overall trip feel incredibly complete. The logistics throughout the journey were also very well handled. Transfers, accommodation and the domestic flight were organised as part of the overall itinerary, meaning that we could concentrate on enjoying the honeymoon rather than constantly coordinating the next step ourselves. Considering the quality of the accommodation, private vehicle, personalised guiding, organisation and level of service, we also felt that the trip offered excellent value for money. It is obviously a significant honeymoon trip, but the quality and level of personal service we received for the price were outstanding. I cannot recommend our guide Enock Hubert at Lion King Adventures highly enough!! His support and guidance was flawless from start to finish, he made myself and my partner feel very safe and cared for. Enock is a lovely, funny, and intelligent gentleman who accommodates and caters any needs to you. Tanzania Safari

The safari was incredible. Enock Hubert was our guide and he was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and managed to get us to see some amazing moments with lots of different animals. Every day we was experiencing something new and exciting. I proposed to my fiancé within the Serengeti and the whole team was extremely supportive allowing me to message them through out the planning process to make sure everything went smoothly. Cannot recommend highly enough!
