Adventure, Nature, Culture and Freedom in Nepal
What an unforgettable experience! Our three-week trip to Nepal was as beautiful as it was challenging. After a few days of acclimatization in Kathmandu, the plan was to travel to Pokhara and from there to Jomsom, where we would trek to Upper Mustang. We came across Going Nepal and Mister Bhandari through a recommendation. He welcomed us with absolute warmth and courtesy, and offered advice and support. Flexible requests were accommodated. You immediately noticed the professionalism and competence, and that they weren't trying to quickly rip us off. We felt very well looked after! The trekking experience was incredibly intense, the landscapes breathtaking, and the cultural impressions fascinating and unique. Even though I personally didn't make it to Lo Manthang due to health reasons, I don't regret the decision and would highly recommend the tour. Thank you for the absolute great trip!
Response from the operator: Dear Dennis and Friends, Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful words. We are truly delighted to hear that your journey through Nepal—with its adventure, nature, culture, and freedom—left such a lasting impression. It was our pleasure to support you throughout your three-week trip, from Kathmandu to the Mustang region, and to make sure you felt well taken care of along the way. Your appreciation of our team’s professionalism and flexibility means a lot to us. Trekking in Upper Mustang is indeed both challenging and rewarding, and we admire your spirit even though circumstances didn’t allow you to reach Lo Manthang this time. The memories, landscapes, and cultural encounters you’ve described are exactly what make Nepal so special. On behalf of myself and the entire Going Nepal team, thank you again for trusting us with your adventure. We hope to welcome you back one day to continue exploring more of Nepal together! Warm regards, Lila Dhar Bhandari

Trekking am Manaslu
We ran the Manaslu Track – and it was an impressive experience! The landscapes were simply breathtaking: snow-capped mountains, rushing rivers, partly beautiful forests and small, traditional villages with incredibly warm people. Every day offered new highlights, be it a sunrise over the Himalayas or a meal together in a rustic mountain hut. Our guide was absolutely professional, experienced and super friendly at the same time – he not only guided us safely through the surrounding area, but also gave exciting insights into Nepal’s culture, religion and nature. Also our porters were super nice – always helpful and well organized. The physical challenge was demanding but feasible, with enough time to relax and enjoy nature. The accommodations were simple but cozy and clean, and the food on the way has always tasted delicious and strengthened well. All in one, a unique experience!
Response from the operator: Vielen herzlichen Dank für Ihre wunderbare Bewertung! 🌟

Why this scores 57
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
11-Day Trekking Adventure in Nepal: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.
How much does 11-Day Trekking Adventure in Nepal cost?
+
Prices start at $5526 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 11-Day Trekking Adventure in Nepal take?
+
Plan for about 264 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.
Is 11-Day Trekking Adventure in Nepal worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 11-Day Trekking Adventure in Nepal?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 11-Day Trekking Adventure in Nepal suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 18. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 264-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book 11-Day Trekking Adventure in Nepal?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 264-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 11-Day Trekking Adventure in Nepal start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?
+
On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Classic Everest Base Camp Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kathmandu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
