    All good

All was good, drive Gabriel was great, only issue is "glass top bus" is just a shuttle bus, no glass top.

    Amazing day trip from Zurich

This was a great way to see two great places in one trip while based in Zurich. It was largely an independent tour with lots of helpful hints from the guide. Lucerne is lovely and Mt. Pilatus is spectacular. The cable car (which is in two sections) is an amazing almost hour long ride up the mountain. And because Zurich is an hour away, this was an affordable way to plan a day trip without the hassle of getting yourself there.

Response from the operator: Thank you, Peter! We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed discovering Lucerne and Mt. Pilatus and that the experience worked well as a convenient day trip from Zurich. It’s great that you appreciated the guidance provided along the way as well as the unforgettable cable car journey up the mountain. We’re glad the tour made your visit easier and more enjoyable, and we hope to welcome you again with Keytours for another memorable adventure!

    Lucerne and Mt Pilatus

Would recommend the tobaggon ride on Mt Pilatus. And don't miss the Lion monument in Lucerne. Didn't have enough time to walk around the old town.

Response from the operator: Dear guest, Thank you for your recommendation! We're glad you enjoyed Mount Pilatus and Lucerne. The toboggan ride and the Lion Monument are definitely highlights We hope to welcome you again so you can have more time to explore the beautiful old town of Lucerne! Kind regards

    Mt. Pilatus for the win!!!

Beautiful views, friendly staff. If you want the full experience be sure wear comfortable flat shoes. Check the weather and maybe bring sun screen. Be careful the cog train and boat do not run all year. While booking I saw that lunch would be provided instead to compensate for the winter closures. Well, it wasn’t and I could not find my proof. Make copies of everything. Driver was AMAZING!!!

Response from the operator: Hi Gary, Thank you for your kind review! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the beautiful views and that our driver made such a positive impression — we’ll be sure to pass on your compliments. Thank you again for sharing your experience, and we hope to welcome you back on another Keytours Switzerland excursion soon!

Zurich: Ride the Dragon to Mount Pilatus aboard a Skyglass Bus: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Zurich.

How much does Zurich: Ride the Dragon to Mount Pilatus aboard a Skyglass Bus cost?

    +

Prices start at $210 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Zurich usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Zurich: Ride the Dragon to Mount Pilatus aboard a Skyglass Bus take?

    +

Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Zurich is not rushed.

Is Zurich: Ride the Dragon to Mount Pilatus aboard a Skyglass Bus worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Zurich, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Zurich: Ride the Dragon to Mount Pilatus aboard a Skyglass Bus?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Zurich: Ride the Dragon to Mount Pilatus aboard a Skyglass Bus suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Zurich: Ride the Dragon to Mount Pilatus aboard a Skyglass Bus?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Zurich can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Zurich and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Zurich: Ride the Dragon to Mount Pilatus aboard a Skyglass Bus start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Zurich within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Zurich?

    +

On Outty we rank every Zurich experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Zurich Food Tour with 10 Local Delicacies, Cheeses & Chocolates, Private, excellent guided tour of Zurich (from CHF 21/pers.), Zürich Historic District Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Zurich?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Zurich?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
