    See Zakopane the right way!

This is the way to see Zakopane. I booked this experience last minute at 2am the same day. The tour guides were extremely friendly and helpful. My group mates were fun and from all different countries. The tour guides even waited for me, being 9 minutes late when they didn't have to. First stop: coffee shop, had great homemade treats and delicious coffee drinks. Second stop: chocholow to visit the local community and see an original wood home. Incredible. The wood carver is very talented and has a great philosophy on life. Third: 4 wheeling, this was worth the price of admission!!! It was a ton of fun running through Zakopane on one of those things! Fourth: local cheese tasting. The couple who own the place were very hospitable and welcoming! The cheese was delicious with mull wine. Lastly we went to the hot springs. This was the crown jewel of the whole day. Hanging in the hot springs with locals, looking at the mountain backdrop, was fantastic. Overall, highly recommend! Will do again when I visit Poland.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for taking the time to share such an amazing and detailed review! We’re absolutely thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the experience from beginning to end. 😊 It was a pleasure having you with us, and we’re especially glad that the last-minute booking worked out and that our guides could make the start of your day a little easier. We’re happy you enjoyed discovering Chochołów and meeting the local woodcarver, the delicious local cheese and mulled wine, and of course the 4x4 adventure! And we couldn’t agree more — relaxing in the thermal pools with the Tatra Mountains in the background is a pretty special way to finish the day. 🏔️♨️ Your kind words about our guides and the local hosts mean a lot to us. Thank you for the recommendation, and we’d love to welcome you back on another adventure when you return to Poland! See you next time! 🇵🇱😊

Well organised trip with good communication, let down by the Spa experience.

The trip was very well organised and the driver Paul and guide Katrina were very helpful, there is nothing more they could have done to make the experience better. The wooden town was interesting as was the trip up the mountain. Cheese tasting was a nice extra. My reason for not giving 5 stars was the actual thermal bath experience was not great. The pools were absolutely rammed with no space anywhere to relax. It was noisy. There were children giving no respect to older people just pushing and shoving and generally rude. There were quite a lot of drunk people again pushing past everyone to be first to the swim up bar. I didn’t see many people leaving the pool to use the toilets. To me this was nothing like the thermal spas in Iceland, more like a busy leisure centre.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your detailed feedback. We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed the organisation of the trip, and that Paul and Katrina made the day special for you, as well as the wooden town, mountain trip, and cheese tasting. We’re sorry to hear that the thermal baths didn’t meet your expectations and that the crowds and atmosphere impacted your experience. Your honest review is very valuable, and we’ll take it into account to help improve future visits. We hope that, despite this, you still enjoyed the rest of the adventure.

Zakopane full day tour with cable car & thermal baths from Krakow: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Krakow.

How much does Zakopane full day tour with cable car & thermal baths from Krakow cost?

    +

Prices start at $99 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Krakow usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Zakopane full day tour with cable car & thermal baths from Krakow take?

    +

Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Krakow is not rushed.

Is Zakopane full day tour with cable car & thermal baths from Krakow worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 13 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Krakow, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Zakopane full day tour with cable car & thermal baths from Krakow?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Zakopane full day tour with cable car & thermal baths from Krakow suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Zakopane full day tour with cable car & thermal baths from Krakow?

    +

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Krakow can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Krakow and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Zakopane full day tour with cable car & thermal baths from Krakow start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Krakow within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Krakow?

    +

On Outty we rank every Krakow experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Complete Cracow Bike Tour (small group of maximum 15 people!), Krakow–Zakopane: Cable Car, Chocholow Baths, Cheese & Vodka, Krakow: Zakopane & Hot Springs Tour with Cable Car (Hotel Pickup). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Krakow?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Krakow?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
