    Nice view

We took the fenicular up to see the view. It was a little pricey at $10. The view was great. Up on too of the mountain, they have quite a few restaurants and a couple of bathrooms that charge about $1.33 or 5 zloty.

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience! We're glad you enjoyed the stunning view from the top—definitely worth the ride up, even if the funicular felt like it thought it was an airplane ticket! 😄 As for the bathroom fee... well, seems like the view wasn’t the only thing that took your breath away! At least now you can say you’ve had a "high-altitude" luxury restroom experience. Thanks for the smile and your review!

Best part of our trip to Krakow

The whole day from start to finish ran like clockwork. Communication from the organiser was fantastic and pick up was right on time. Each section of the day was explained beforehand and information about each area was thorough. Our guide Kuba was clearly very keen to tell us as much as he could and his passion for his job was clear. He treated us like family throughout the day and we felt so comfortable and relaxed. I can’t recommend this tour enough, it really gets you to a different part of Poland and the value for money is great considering the distance it is away from Krakow. It’s a beautiful area and a ‘must do’ when visiting the country. We were lucky enough to visit for new years so the snow and Christmas decorations made it feel really lovely, especially in the spa! Please do co aider this company when booking your tour. There were only a group of 7 of us which was fantastic

Response from the operator: Thank you for such a thoughtful and detailed review! We are delighted to hear that your experience with us was seamless and enjoyable from start to finish. It’s wonderful to know that our communication, punctuality, and detailed organization made your day stress-free and memorable. Kuba will be thrilled to hear your kind words. His passion for sharing the beauty and culture of Poland truly shines, and we are so glad he made you feel like family throughout the day. Your description of the tour, especially during the magical New Year’s season with snow and decorations, paints a beautiful picture—thank you for sharing that special detail. We’re so pleased that you felt the tour offered great value and showcased a different side of Poland. It means the world to us that you found it to be a “must-do” experience. Your recommendation is deeply appreciated, and we’re so happy that the smaller group size added to your enjoyment. Thank you for choosing us and for encouraging others to do the same. We hope to welcome you back on another adventure in the future!

Zakopane Funicular Hill & Thermal Springs regular tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Krakow.

How much does Zakopane Funicular Hill & Thermal Springs regular tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $124 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Krakow usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Zakopane Funicular Hill & Thermal Springs regular tour take?

    +

Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Krakow is not rushed.

Is Zakopane Funicular Hill & Thermal Springs regular tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Krakow, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Zakopane Funicular Hill & Thermal Springs regular tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Zakopane Funicular Hill & Thermal Springs regular tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Zakopane Funicular Hill & Thermal Springs regular tour?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Krakow can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Krakow and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Zakopane Funicular Hill & Thermal Springs regular tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Krakow within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Krakow?

    +

On Outty we rank every Krakow experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Complete Cracow Bike Tour (small group of maximum 15 people!), Krakow–Zakopane: Cable Car, Chocholow Baths, Cheese & Vodka, Krakow: Zakopane & Hot Springs Tour with Cable Car (Hotel Pickup). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Krakow?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Krakow?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
