What a Wonderful 2 Day Adventure

We had the most wonderful time on our Incredible Adventures trip to Yosemite. Unfortunately our original trip was changed but Beth, at Incredible Adventures, did everything she could to manage and accommodate our expectations, she went above and beyond. Our guide on the first day, Phil Novak, also went above and beyond. He was so thorough with his narrative and pointed everything out on our journey to the park and also whilst we were in the national park. We felt sad when he left at the end of our first day. However, his instructions and guidance on how to spend our 2nd day made sure we got the best out of it. Sadly the guide who collected us and took us back to San Francisco fell quite short. No narrative at all, no interesting facts - nothing. He was a disappointment - the people on his day trip said he was completely uninformative for their whole day. THANK GOODNESS WE HAD PHIL NOVAK AND BETH ON OUR TEAM.

Amazing Tour with Kind People and Great Memories

I truly enjoyed the 2-day Yosemite tour. Our guide MITCH was very kind and thoughtful — he spoke slowly and used simple English so that even I, as a non-native speaker, could easily understand. He also took us to many great photo spots and helped us take wonderful pictures. Everything was well organized and the hotel was in a great location — very convenient and comfortable after a long day of exploring. I also made new friends with other participants, and we had such a fun time together. I really appreciate the guide’s kindness and highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Yosemite.

Response from the operator: We are thrilled to hear you had such a great Yosemite experience and are delighted to pass on your kind words to Mitch!

    Unguided and expensive

This tour is unguided, they drop you off at yosemite after a couple of driver stops, arrange hotel and drop you off in san fransico the following day and charge you nearly £1000 for this! I was disappointed. I was left to walk the trails by myself.

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re sorry to hear that the tour did not meet your expectations. Our Yosemite Overnight tours are designed to provide transportation, accommodations, and ample free time so guests can explore the park at their own pace. We understand that some travelers may expect a more structured, fully guided experience, and we appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve how we communicate the tour format. We regret that you were disappointed and hope you were still able to enjoy the incredible natural beauty of Yosemite during your visit. Thank you again for taking the time to provide your comments. Sincerely, Casey Incredible Adventures Team

Yosemite National Park 2-Day Winter Tour from San Francisco: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for San Francisco.

How much does Yosemite National Park 2-Day Winter Tour from San Francisco cost?

    +

Prices start at $619 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in San Francisco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Yosemite National Park 2-Day Winter Tour from San Francisco take?

    +

Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in San Francisco is not rushed.

Is Yosemite National Park 2-Day Winter Tour from San Francisco worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 46 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.8/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in San Francisco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Yosemite National Park 2-Day Winter Tour from San Francisco?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Yosemite National Park 2-Day Winter Tour from San Francisco suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Yosemite National Park 2-Day Winter Tour from San Francisco?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in San Francisco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in San Francisco and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Yosemite National Park 2-Day Winter Tour from San Francisco start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central San Francisco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in San Francisco?

    +

San Francisco packs Alcatraz, Muir Woods, Napa and the bay into day-trip range, which makes booking order matter more than anywhere else in the US. Alcatraz sells out weeks ahead, wine-country vans fill on weekends, and the best food walks in the Mission and Chinatown cap at a dozen people. Our ranking favours small groups and guides who live in the neighbourhood they walk. On Outty we rank every San Francisco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small Group Yosemite and Giant Sequoias Day Trip from San Francisco, Golden Gate Bridge Muir Woods Sausalito with Optional Alcatraz, Chinatown, North Beach, Little Italy: 7 Tastings & History. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit San Francisco?

    +

September and October, the city's real summer, once the fog season breaks. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in San Francisco?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
