Guide, content and food were all great but it was just too rushed. Too much packed into 4 hours.

Best thing we did in San Francisco!
After this experience, we want to book a a food walking tour in every town we visit! It was worth every penny and more!!! Our guide Ryan was knowledgeable and fun and the food was amazing! We learned so much about San Francisco - from history to plants to pop culture and quirky facts - AND had amazing food! A great way to see a new city!
Response from the operator: What a wonderful review! I especially loved hearing that you enjoyed the tour so much that you now want to take a food walking tour in every city you visit! That really made me smile. Ryan has such a great way of bringing San Francisco to life, and I’m so glad you enjoyed his mix of history, humor, quirky facts, and all the little things that make our neighborhoods special. And of course, I'm thrilled that you loved the food! As a small, local, family-owned business, hearing that our tour was the best thing you did in San Francisco means more than you know. Thank you so much for spending part of your visit with us and for taking the time to share such kind words. I hope we'll get to welcome you back someday!

Amazing Experience!
What a great time! First of all, I believe we had a group of 13 which was a very nice size; not too many. And, Ryan was wonderful. He was chock full of information about the city and the various areas we visited. He also had a great sense of humor which was delightful. And oh my gosh, there was so much food!! And, ALL good! We were unable to completely finish the tour as we had another commitment that came up, but we would definitely do this tour again. And, highly recommend Ryan. Thank you for such a fun time!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for such a wonderful review! I'm so glad you had such a great time with Ryan. He really does have a way of bringing San Francisco's history to life while keeping everyone laughing along the way. And I especially loved hearing that you enjoyed ALL the food! We want everyone to leave having discovered some wonderful places and definitely not feeling hungry! I'm sorry you weren't able to stay for the entire tour, but it sounds like you had a terrific time while you were with us. I hope you'll come back and join us again so you can enjoy everything you missed. I'll be sure to share your kind words with Ryan. He'll love hearing them! Thanks again for spending part of your day with us!

Chinatown, North Beach, Little Italy: 7 Tastings & History: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for San Francisco.
How much does Chinatown, North Beach, Little Italy: 7 Tastings & History cost?
+
Prices start at $96 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in San Francisco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Chinatown, North Beach, Little Italy: 7 Tastings & History take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in San Francisco is not rushed.
Is Chinatown, North Beach, Little Italy: 7 Tastings & History worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 94 out of 100, which we label "90+ Club". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 1,444 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in San Francisco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are. Scoring 90 or above puts it in the Outty 90+ Club, the top tier of everything we rank.
Can I cancel or reschedule Chinatown, North Beach, Little Italy: 7 Tastings & History?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Chinatown, North Beach, Little Italy: 7 Tastings & History suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Chinatown, North Beach, Little Italy: 7 Tastings & History?
+
Around 505 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in San Francisco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in San Francisco and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Chinatown, North Beach, Little Italy: 7 Tastings & History start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central San Francisco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in San Francisco?
+
San Francisco packs Alcatraz, Muir Woods, Napa and the bay into day-trip range, which makes booking order matter more than anywhere else in the US. Alcatraz sells out weeks ahead, wine-country vans fill on weekends, and the best food walks in the Mission and Chinatown cap at a dozen people. Our ranking favours small groups and guides who live in the neighbourhood they walk. On Outty we rank every San Francisco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small Group Yosemite and Giant Sequoias Day Trip from San Francisco, Golden Gate Bridge Muir Woods Sausalito with Optional Alcatraz, Painted Ladies San Francisco City Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit San Francisco?
+
September and October, the city's real summer, once the fog season breaks. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in San Francisco?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
