Incredible day full of adventure, thanks Dan!

We had the most incredible experience with Dan from Yellowstone Day Tours. I traveled with my family and my grandpa, which made the trip extra special. Our main goal was to see as much wildlife as possible, and Dan went above and beyond to make that happen. His passion, enthusiasm, and deep knowledge of the park made the entire day unforgettable. Thanks to Dan’s expertise and sharp eye, we saw an incredible variety of animals: black bears, a grizzly bear, owls, pronghorns, mountain goats, bison (with their adorable red dogs), eagles, osprey, and more. Every sighting was thrilling, and Dan’s excitement made us even more excited—it truly felt like an adventure. What stood out most was how much Dan cares—not just about giving guests a great experience, but also about the animals, the environment, and the park itself. He was full of fascinating information, which made us feel like we weren’t just sightseeing, but really learning and connecting with Yellowstone in a meaningful way. I would recommend this tour to anyone—whether it’s your first time in Yellowstone or your tenth. It was an unforgettable day, and I can’t wait to return one day and explore the Grand Tetons with Dan. He’s truly an excellent guide who made our trip so memorable.

    Exceeded Expectations in every way

James was awesome. Fabulous knowledge of Yellowstones ecology, history and wildlife. Just a great personable host. We all commented after the day we don’t know what could have made it any better.

Response from the operator: That's so kind and we are glad you enjoyed James and learned so much from him. He is a gem to be sure. Thank you for the review.

Hands down, the best tour guides in the area.

What an amazing tour! Shane was our tour guide and seriously the highlight of our trip. Not only was he very knowledgeable of everything we saw in the park, but he kept it fun and engaging even for the little ones. My kids loved him! He knew all the great spots to see wildlife and there wasn’t a question he wasn’t able to answer. Because of our timing, we had to book the other loop on a different day with a different, well reviewed touring company, and the entire time all we said was “I wish we had booked this with Yellowstone Day Tours”. It really did not compare at all. The quality of the van, the provided lunch, tons of water, and binoculars for each person really made a huge difference and again, Shane’s personality made the day fly by. The other tour company didn’t provide any of it and it was just as expensive. Do yourself a favor… don’t book with anyone else.

Response from the operator: That is so great to hear your experience and to know that you enjoyed your day. I am glad you got to experience Yellowstone with Shane and that our efforts to make the experience top notch made your day. So glad you could join us!
