    Fantastic day at Yellowstone

Wonderfully complete tour door to door. Asked what we wanted to see & made suggestions along the way. Very efficient- so much time was saved because he knew the best spots to park so we didn’t have to add another 1/2 hour to an 1 & 3/4 mile hike. I wouldn’t want to tour Yellowstone any other way. Guide provided snacks, drinks and lunch which was very helpful.

Response from the operator: Thanks for summing up one of the advantages of touring with us. Yellowstone is a big place and if you only have a day, you want to be as efficient with your precious vacation time as possible.

Great company and guide! Full day but seemed less. Teton Village. To Yellowstone. Saw all the highlights of the southern loop.

Response from the operator: Thanks Larry, I think you might have reviewed us twice, under different emails, but we will take this as an extra-special compliment. Either that or someone else made a review long after their tour which we also appreciate as a sign of having had a memorable time. Thanks to you and Deborah for joining us. Safe travels home.

    Yellowstone 2026 with the grandkids

This was absolutely amazing. Our guide Rachel was the best without a doubt. Knowledgeable, fun, and great with the kids. She meant so much to us we now consider her part of the family now. I would recommend this tour to everyone. We were able to see all the highlights and wildlife. We even got a close up with a bison

Response from the operator: Thank you John that is a lovely and heart felt review. I'll be sure to pass it onto Rachel. It's always a thrill when a bison decides to share the road with you.

Yellowstone National Park Private Guided Tour

We had a group of 6 women and they brought 2 cars. It is a long day to try to see everything, so that way we had lots of room. We were taken to cool places to see and take pictures. We saw Old Faithful, Rachel and Liam timed that visit so we would be sure to see an eruption. We ate lunch before and as soon as we were done, it was about time. We also saw bear, moose, elk, bison and pronghorn. They also take pictures with their cameras with telescopic lenses on them and they air drop them to you at the end of the tour. Rachel and Liam were both fun, great tour guides and very personable. I would go with them again!!! I am trying to figure out how to add photos. If I can figure it out, I will update my review.

Response from the operator: Mary Lou, Rachel and I were reminiscing about our day with you last night over dinner. I'm glad it was as much fun for you as it was for us. We hope to see you again soon.

Yellowstone National Park Private Guided Tour - Full Day: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Jackson.

How much does Yellowstone National Park Private Guided Tour - Full Day cost?

    +

Prices start at $675 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Jackson usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Yellowstone National Park Private Guided Tour - Full Day take?

    +

Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Jackson is not rushed.

Is Yellowstone National Park Private Guided Tour - Full Day worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Jackson, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Yellowstone National Park Private Guided Tour - Full Day?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Yellowstone National Park Private Guided Tour - Full Day suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Yellowstone National Park Private Guided Tour - Full Day?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Jackson can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Jackson and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Yellowstone National Park Private Guided Tour - Full Day start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Jackson within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Jackson?

    +

On Outty we rank every Jackson experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Whitewater Rafting in Jackson Hole : Family Standard Raft, Sunrise 4-Hour Grand Teton Wildlife Adventure, Snake River Scenic Float Trip with Teton Views in Jackson Hole. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Jackson?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Jackson?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
