Family fun
This was so much fun, unfortunately we didn't have enough time to do the zip lines because there was a thunderstorm and it was closed the 1st 2hrs we were there. The food was soooo good never seen an amusement park with this level of variety. Definitely worth the money. It requires a lot of walking so be prepared. Definitely bring some good water shoes you will need them.

Buffet was great
As a nature lover, I loved the whole vibes and crazy activities! Except for the attendants especially the staffs at the underground river walk, those young staff were very rude for no reason. It’s like they hated their job or just tired overall. They made us watch the replay on the screen 3 times despite us telling them we did already. Offered no other explanation or instructions when they showed us in. We were so disappointed that the restaurants closed at 5pm. We were so thirsty and asked for water but the staff just didn’t care and literally ignored us saying they will open back again at 7pm. Just for a water and they were so stingy. On a positive note, the rest of the rides are okay. Ziplines, very hard lol. We didn’t know that you have to walk and climb a bunch of stairs to do it. We were all fit enough but man, that was tiring. Overall, it was a nice experience just the staff making it weird but hey, at least the dinner buffet was great!
Response from the operator: Dear visitor, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are delighted to know that you enjoyed the natural setting, the adventurous activities, and our dinner buffet. It is always rewarding to hear that our visitors appreciate the unique environment that Xplor Fuego offers. At the same time, we are truly sorry to learn that some of your interactions with our team did not meet your expectations. Providing friendly, respectful, and helpful service is one of our core values, so we regret that you felt otherwise during the underground river activity and when requesting assistance. Your comments will be shared with the appropriate management team to reinforce our service standards and guest communication. Regarding the restaurants, our dining service operates according to the park's schedule. We apologize if this caused any inconvenience during your visit. Please note that complimentary hydration stations are available throughout the park so visitors can stay hydrated while enjoying the activities. We also appreciate your comments about the zip-line circuit. As part of the adventure, some activities involve walking through natural trails and climbing stairs, allowing visitors to experience the park's unique underground landscape. Thank you once again for your valuable feedback. It helps us continue improving the experience we provide, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for another adventure in the future. Why this scores 67
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Xplor Fuego with Buffet Style Dinner and transportation: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tulum.
How much does Xplor Fuego with Buffet Style Dinner and transportation cost?
+
Prices start at $175 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tulum usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Xplor Fuego with Buffet Style Dinner and transportation take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tulum is not rushed.
Is Xplor Fuego with Buffet Style Dinner and transportation worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 343 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tulum, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Xplor Fuego with Buffet Style Dinner and transportation?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Xplor Fuego with Buffet Style Dinner and transportation suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Xplor Fuego with Buffet Style Dinner and transportation?
+
Around 120 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tulum can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tulum and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Xplor Fuego with Buffet Style Dinner and transportation start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tulum within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Tulum?
+
On Outty we rank every Tulum experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tulum Ruins, Turtles in Akumal and Cenote tour, Tulum Guided Tour, Magical Cenote, Lagoon Snorkeling and Beachside Lunch, Chichén Itzá, Cenote and Valladolid with Lunch and transportation. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Tulum?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Tulum?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
