We begin our tour by picking you up and taking you to Sintra. There, we'll briefly explore the Sintra Mountains, and move on to Pena Palace. After that, we'll visit Moorish Castle, that stands very close to the Palace. We then go to Praia das Maçãs, a majestic beach that follows in the wonder of Sintra. To finish, come visit the beautiful wine-house in Colares, "Adega Regional de Colares" and have a go at a few tastings. The wine-house was founded in 1931 and is the oldest Wine Cooperative in the country. It is home for most of Sintra's wine producers. The building itself is impressive, and its interior is dazzling by the size and number of casks it houses. This is where the magic happens, where the wine ages in wood casks, giving it a special flavor that can only be found in this area of Portugal.

    Sintra and more

Felipe was recommended to us and he exceeded our expectations! He arrived early morning to pick us up and dropped us safely in the evening after a wonderful full day tour of Sintra with stops in Cascais, and Cabo da Roca. We had time in the towns to see the shops and sample the food, we even sampled Ginjinha (cherry liqueur in chocolate cups) Felipe was a wealth of knowledge and told many interesting stories with fun facts and lots of laughs that made the day fly by. In Sintra, we saw both Pina Palace and Regaleira, both magnificent sights! Thank you Filipe, from your friends from Canada 🇨🇦

    Sensational Sintra

Filipe was highly recommended and he did not disappoint! He picked us up directly first thing and brought us to our Airbnb doorstep later that evening. We had a fun full day of beautiful sights, lots of laughs and wonderful detail about the history of everything that we saw! It is very apparent that Filipe loves what he does and we will cherish the beautiful memories and all of the photos from our day with you! ❤️From The Doppler’s

    +

How far in advance should I book Wine Tour & Lunch By the Sea in Sintra?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lisbon can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lisbon and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Lisbon?

    +

On Outty we rank every Lisbon experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Lisbon City Center Tour - The Unmissable Lisbon, Sintra Private Trip from Lisbon Customizable Dreamlike Experience, Escape Hunt Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Lisbon?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Lisbon?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
