About this experience
If you love wine, this tour fits your perfectly! Come meet one of the oldest Wineries in Portugal by visiting it's museum and have a wine tasting at the end of your visit! We will also make the climb to the Serra da Arrábida, to its highest point, where we can see the magnificent views of the Atlantic Ocean, the beaches of Arrábida with its fine white sands and crystal clear sea water, Tróia insua and its beaches. and the fishing town of Setúbal, and the whole route is in a protected nature reserve area. If we are still within our time, we can still visit a tile factory that still uses the same technique of the 15th century, manufacturing each tile one by one .... Only one of the wineries will be visited, depending on the availability of both;

Girls trip ruined
I booked this excursion for me and 16 friends, they had me do it on two separate bookings one for 8 and one for 9 people. The morning of they arrived with one car for the group of 8 and said they did not have a second car, despite having both reservations. Upon calling Viator they offered me to book another tour three times the price. Ultimately we split my group, which we didn’t want to do, and 9 of us stayed in Lisbon while 8 of us went on the tour. Now onto the tour. The girls arrived at this bizarrely decorated house that seemed more about displaying strange art then wine. They were offered three wines, that were worth about 9 euros a bottle. They were told there was a beautiful castle on the grounds to visit but it was closed on Sundays. The whole tour took place inside, and they refused to move the tasting outdoors on the lovely sunny day. The woman hosting the wine tour knew nothing about wine and spilled red wine on two of the girls. Overall would not recommend this terrible experience.
Response from the operator: Sincerely believe that we were very sad about this situation :-( it was a big mess because we had the day closed for more bookings and Viator managed to introduce your second booking because they called our offices and we always thought it was a change to the existing booking and not a second booking because we were already overbooking. .. We are sorry for what happened, it was also a loss for us, but above all we are sad that we ruined your day. if you return to Portugal and the Lisbon region, to try to compensate you for this day, we will give you a 30% discount on all products you book with us, and we will also offer you transfers from the airport to the hotel and from departure from hotel to airport... Our sincere apologies. Gaspar Costa abctravel.pt

Great half day tour with super friendly service
The driver was punctual and very informative throughout the whole journey. He was pleasant and always willing to answer questions and be helpful. He even had to join us on our wine tour because they were only doing it in Portuguese so he was also our translator. Lovely half day outside of Lisbon.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your words, it is always a source of pride when our clients like our work.

Great experience!!!
Excellent staff. Great experience. Is worth the visit. The museums are very interesting, they add value to the tour. The wine is very tasteful. We ended up buying a few bottles.
Response from the operator: Hi Flavia, thank you very much for your kind words, for us it is very important to hear and know that our customers are satisfied with our work. Thanks. Gaspar Costa

Why this scores 52
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Wine Tasting - Private Half-Day Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lisbon.
How much does Wine Tasting - Private Half-Day Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $85 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lisbon usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Wine Tasting - Private Half-Day Tour take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lisbon is not rushed.
Is Wine Tasting - Private Half-Day Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 52 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.3/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lisbon, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Wine Tasting - Private Half-Day Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Wine Tasting - Private Half-Day Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Wine Tasting - Private Half-Day Tour?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lisbon can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lisbon and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Wine Tasting - Private Half-Day Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lisbon within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Lisbon?
+
On Outty we rank every Lisbon experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Lisbon City Center Tour - The Unmissable Lisbon, Sintra Private Trip from Lisbon Customizable Dreamlike Experience, True 4Hour Private Tuk Tuk Tour: Discover Lisbon with a Local!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Lisbon?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Lisbon?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
