First time in Querétaro
The tour is well-segmented, with enough time to enjoy each stop. The vineyards we visited were incredible. Our operator Andrés R. was always very attentive and kind, he provided us with useful information about each site we visited as well as recommendations. My only comment for improvement is that there was no guide present to integrate the group, provide detailed information, or whom we could contact in case of any inconvenience. Other than that, we liked the tour and we recommend it.

A perfect tour to celebrate!
I took this tour with a friend to celebrate our birthdays and it was one of the best experiences of our trip to Querétaro. Everything was very well organized, from the starting point; they picked us up at a central point very punctually and our first stop was the cheese and wine tasting. A detail that I loved was that they allowed us to store our purchases in a cooler during the tour, so we were able to enjoy the day without worrying about carrying the bottles or the cheeses. Afterward, we visited Tequisquiapan, a beautiful town, full of color and a lot of charm. Our guide, Gustavo, made a big difference: he explained the history of each place to us, was very kind, helpful, and even took photos of us during the tour. Later we visited the wine cellar and finished in Peña de Bernal, where we enjoyed an excellent meal and the classic souvenir photo with the monolith in the background. If I could change one thing, it would only be to have more time in Peña de Bernal. I would have loved to stay one night to do the night tours and try more of its incredible gastronomic offerings. Without a doubt, I recommend it 100%!

Excellent.
It is totally worth it, it is a great tour, and everyone was definitely very pleasant. Punctuality, a very clean van, and good guides.

They fulfill what was contracted.
Our guide was super friendly and flexible. We left at the agreed time and completed all the contracted activities. We would have liked the time in the vineyard to be one hour longer to enjoy a glass, in addition to the tasting one.
Response from the operator: ¡Hola!

We had an incredible tour with the cheese history, and at the end, we tasted a wine that I liked a lot.
10 out of 10; the explanation of the wines and their process fascinated me.
Response from the operator: ¡Muchísimas gracias por tu increíble reseña!

The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Wine and Cheese Tour with Peña de Bernal and Tequisquiapan: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for San Miguel de Allende.
How much does Wine and Cheese Tour with Peña de Bernal and Tequisquiapan cost?
+
Prices start at $82 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in San Miguel de Allende usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Wine and Cheese Tour with Peña de Bernal and Tequisquiapan take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in San Miguel de Allende is not rushed.
Is Wine and Cheese Tour with Peña de Bernal and Tequisquiapan worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in San Miguel de Allende, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Wine and Cheese Tour with Peña de Bernal and Tequisquiapan?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Wine and Cheese Tour with Peña de Bernal and Tequisquiapan suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Wine and Cheese Tour with Peña de Bernal and Tequisquiapan?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in San Miguel de Allende can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in San Miguel de Allende and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Wine and Cheese Tour with Peña de Bernal and Tequisquiapan start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central San Miguel de Allende within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in San Miguel de Allende?
+
On Outty we rank every San Miguel de Allende experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tacos and Tequila Walking Tour with Taste of Miguel, Half Day Excursion - Horseback Riding Adventure in SMA, Historical and Cultural Walking Tour of San Miguel de Allende. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit San Miguel de Allende?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in San Miguel de Allende?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
