Three Incredible Wineries, One Perfect Day
We had the most incredible experience with Heart of Mexico’s wine tours during a recent trip with my mom. Tiffany, our guide for the day, was absolutely wonderful—warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the region and its wines. She crafted a special itinerary for us that gave us a taste of the diversity and beauty of Querétaro’s wine country. We visited three distinct wineries, each offering something unique: 1. Dos Búhos – This was our first stop, and it was absolutely stunning. The property is family-owned and feels like something out of a dream, with its sprawling grounds and artistic touches. We tasted a variety of wines—rosés, whites, an orange wine, and reds—all of which were impressive. I couldn’t resist picking up several bottles, along with a tote bag and two beautiful hamsas from their charming gift shop. We also enjoyed a delicious wood-fired pizza and were treated to incredible handmade dark chocolates filled with fresh fruit. Truly a standout experience. 2. Cuna de Tierra – Our second winery was another gem. The atmosphere was elegant but relaxed, and I found a lovely bottle of Tempranillo that I had to take home. We also sampled their homemade olive oil, which was so delicious we couldn’t leave without buying a bottle. The wines here had a different profile, and I really appreciated the contrast from our first stop. 3. Los Arcángeles (San Ángeles) – This was a very special final visit. We were warmly welcomed by the owners’ parents, who were just delightful. The setting was cozy and heartfelt, and again, the wines impressed us enough to bring a few bottles back. We learned it was their anniversary, which made the visit feel even more personal and memorable. The entire day was thoughtfully planned and exceeded our expectations. I honestly had no idea that the Querétaro region was producing such high-quality wines. Tiffany’s insight and warmth made the experience even more special, and I’m so grateful for the memories we made. Highly, highly recommend!

Perfect wine tour in the heart of Mexico!
My wife worked with Tiffany to schedule a tour of 3 wineries. Tom picked us up at our hotel exactly at our meeting time. We were served several wines at each location based on our tastes. Tom has a wealth of knowledge about wine and directed us to the best wines at each location. We had lunch at our last stop and the food was out of this world. If you love wine or are new to wine exploration, take this tour. It was worth every penny.

Authentic Mexican Vineyard Experience
Tim was an excellent guide. Beautiful wineries, delicious food and great information on delicious wines. You’ll go to several independent vineyards and it’s a very customizable tour. It was a wonderful part of my SMA trip.

The wine expertise is worth the price
My husband and I are from California and are very enthusiastic wine drinkers. We were new to the Queretaro wine region but wanted to start exploring the region's wine offerings. Tom and Tiffany took us on a tour that included 3 wineries with glasses of wine at each, a fantastic lunch at one of the wineries and a stop at one of the Pueblo Magicos. The tour was great! They picked us up at our home and brought us back at the end of the day and tailored the perfect tour around our wine preferences. The best part was their extensive knowledge of the wines at each winery. After talking to us about what varietals of wines we liked, they recommended wines at each place. They were never wrong! The only wine we didn't care for of all the wines we tried was the one that I insisted on trying (although they tried to warn me!) I highly recommend Heart of Mexico Wine Tours. They customize the perfect wine tour for your experience and preferences. It's an all around great experience!
