Informative, engaging & thoroughly enjoyable experience
I received the wildlife workshop in Richmond park as a gift. I travelled from Hertfordshire on a Monday evening & found parking easily. The meeting details were clear & everybody was there a little early, so we were able to start. The wildlife in the park did not disappoint, the weather was perfect & the sun gave some beautiful contrasts. I am a complete novice with an old camera, surrounded by people with a lot more kit & experience than me; but we all shared the same enthusiasm. Matthew was very knowledgeable and a very patient teacher & nothing was too much trouble to explain - even several times for me! A thoroughly enjoyable evening, and I have come away with some shots that I am very happy with; a huge amount of food for thought & a desire to continue with exploring more photography. Thank you very much PS the shots I have attached were from my phone, not my camera - so please don’t think this was Matthew’s teaching! I just couldn’t resist getting my phone out!

A fun learning experience
I recently did this course with Matthew & thoroughly enjoyed myself. Matthew has an easy going manner which made it very easy to learn from him. He puts photography across very simply & I feel that I learnt some camera tecniques which will be very useful in the future. I enjoyed photographing the deer & other wildlife in the park & went home with some really nice pictures. If you are interested in learning more about photography & how to use your camera more effectively then I would recommend this course.

Warm and friendly wildlife photography workshop in Richmond Park
On one of the hottest evenings of the year, the workshop in Richmond Park was very enjoyable. Matt is warm and friendly, very knowledgeable about wildlife as well as photography, and an excellent teacher. He was able to explain camera functions to beginners and more experienced photographers in a very accessible way. We saw a variety of wildlife, tried out different types of photography, and we even saw a little owl, thanks to Matt’s bionic eyes! I was hoping to see an owl, having never seen one in the wild before, and he found one. Amazing. I highly recommend Matt’s workshops - when at the start of a workshop you find that someone else in the group has attended a previous one, it’s always a good sign.

Total let down
Took a friend of my mine for this so called Wildlife Photography Experience, oh dear ! I think She could have captured more in her Garden ! What a let down , plus despite asking about the gate closure time , had trouble getting out of the park , finding many gates locked !

Cracking afternoon out
Bought this as a gift for my partner. Not only did he find it extremely useful in terms of learning new photography methods / how to get the most out of his camera, he also thoroughly enjoy the company he was in. He said he loved the overall experience. Matt was great he said!
