Mesmerizing and Educational
I have always been fascinated by whirling dervishes and it was interesting to learn about what they are really all about. That said, my misconception was that they would be entertaining. This is strictly a religious ceremony. It is quite solemn, slow and rhythmic. I noticed several audience members nodding off, fidgeting and yawning. It is fascinating amd educational, but don’t expect rousing entertainment. Lasts about 1 hour.

For all those who love to spend the evening in the curage this tour is perfect. Nowhere and never have I felt so much emotion as on this beautiful vessel.
