Excellent tour!
I highly recommend this whale watching tour. We saw many whales breach and staff was very good. Lunch was good and plentiful drinks. My only criticism is that we missed our pick up and had to take a cab. We were in lobby 10 min early and did not know it was a Sunrider tour since our booking said grayline. Since I did not see grayline on a bus I ignored the Sunrider ones. I then called the number provided and the man on the phone was extremely helpful. He said if I got a cab I could be there in plenty of time. He texted and called me until I reached my destination! Since this was my first time in Cabo that eased my nerves and the trip was successful!

Great experience
From the time we arrived Grayline was there and we had a smooth ride to hotel. We then met with Manuel (Manny) Grayline’s rep at the Riu Hotel and he set us up with the excursions we desired. He was very patient and found everything we wanted to do in a very short time. Manny went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time and the 2 tours we chose whale watching and swimming with dolphins were remarkably and everything thing I about the experience was worry free and when in doubt I could call Manny on the phone and he assisted very quickly. Would visit again and use Grayline.

Beautiful whale watching experience
The whales were amazing. Even though the catamaran was booked Pablo found us another one to take for the same time. Very fun overall.

Transportation Promised but No!
We booked a whale watching tour through Grayline at the Rui Sante Fe Resort in Cabo and were promised transportation to the boat. We were told that the van would leave at 11:30 am on 2/27, so be there a little early. We arrived at 11:21 am and found that that the van had left us and we were on our own for transportaion, they would not pay for us getting to the boat. We tried to get transportation from them and explained we paid for this and it was not our fault that we missed the van. They continued to refuse to pay for our transportation. We then filled out an incident report with them. We were told they would contact us between 24-48 hours with info on our incident. We never received an email and were charged for the Whale Watching trip. We then contacted our credit card companies and are refusing to pay them. A paid trip to the boat is all they needed to do to avoid this. Terrible customer service. :(
Response from the operator: Good morning, Thank you for your time and your comment, we are here to help you. Please be kind to send us all your reservation details to customerservice@graylineloscabos.com to follow-up on this case properly. We are here to help you, as soon you send us your information we will work on it. Have a nice day. -CX Department

Why this scores 62
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Whale Watching with Lunch and transportation included: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Los Cabos.
How much does Whale Watching with Lunch and transportation included cost?
+
Prices start at $99 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Los Cabos usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Whale Watching with Lunch and transportation included take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Los Cabos is not rushed.
Is Whale Watching with Lunch and transportation included worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 20 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Los Cabos, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Whale Watching with Lunch and transportation included?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Whale Watching with Lunch and transportation included suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Whale Watching with Lunch and transportation included?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Los Cabos can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Los Cabos and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Whale Watching with Lunch and transportation included start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Los Cabos within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Los Cabos?
+
On Outty we rank every Los Cabos experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ziplining and UTV Desert Adventure from Los Cabos, Cabo 4x4 ATV Tour with Tequila Tasting and Mexican Buffet Lunch, Cabo Beach Camel Ride, Mexican Buffet and Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Los Cabos?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Los Cabos?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
