    Our tour with Bruce was...

Our tour with Bruce was the highlight of our trip! It was such an amazing experience to see kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, fruit bats, a lyrebird, black cockatoos, and many more, all in the wild. Bruce was fun to converse with and he's an excellent guide!

Response from the operator: Once again, thank you for the lovely review. It was a pleasure to spend the two days with you and Sam. I am glad that this was the highlight of your trip.

    Exceptional experience!

We had a very committed, knowledgeable, accommodating and nice guide. We saw several vombats, even a very small cub with its mother and many kangaroos in their wild state. The tour also saw porcupines, cockatoos and lyrebirds. A very experienceful day. Tack Bruce!

Response from the operator: Tack Ingrid and Suzanne. It was my pleasure.

    A Terrific Experience

We had an absolutely delightful day with Dave on our Walking with Wombats tour. The hikes selected were a good length for a group of people with various skill levels. Dave was prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable about the flora and fauna. He was careful to meet the dietary needs of his passengers and on the return to Sydney he dropped us off at our individual hotels. I would highly recommend spending the day with Dave and experiencing the wombats and kangaroos.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your review. Our company Travel Ideology aspire to be recognised as providing the best wildlife tours in Sydney. We started our "Walking with" series of tours (kangaroos, wombats, etc) in 2015 and appreciate your review.

    Amazing Day with Kangaroos

The tour was awesome! It was an enjoyable day from start to finish. The timing of each event was well-paced so we did not feel rushed at any point. The view at the Kaima BlowHole was amazing, as well as the the waterfalls. Kangaroo Valley is well worth the drive and is the place where we saw Echidna, Wombats, Kangaroos, and Wallaby. Our guide was encouraging and patient as we waited for the perfect photo opp with the wildlife. We had four teens on the tour and they were definitely engaged.

Response from the operator: Jacque, It was a pleasure to spend the day with you and your family.

How much does Walking with Wild Wombats Private Day Trip from Sydney cost?

    +

How long does Walking with Wild Wombats Private Day Trip from Sydney take?

    +

Is Walking with Wild Wombats Private Day Trip from Sydney worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 46 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Sydney, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Walking with Wild Wombats Private Day Trip from Sydney?

Is Walking with Wild Wombats Private Day Trip from Sydney suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Walking with Wild Wombats Private Day Trip from Sydney?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sydney can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sydney and add a light layer if any part of the 10.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Sydney?

    +

On Outty we rank every Sydney experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include WILD Wombat and Kangaroo Day Tour, All Inclusive, Depart Syd: Blue Mountains Best All Inclusive with Local Guide, Blue Mountain Small Group Tour All Inclusive. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Sydney?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Sydney?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
