BEWARE OF JAY
The owner, Jay Chong, has very unethical business practices. Overbooks tours. Is rude to customers. Cancels last minute. Leaves people stranded. Refuses to issue refunds. Please take your money elsewhere and do not support this unethical business. He gives the people of these islands a bad name.
Response from the operator: I am sorry for not being able to accommodate you. You are a paying customer why would I not accommodate you. Only thing that I did not appreciate was when you started to say "f***ng" this and that. I ended the conversation and your girlfriend call. She was worse than him. She was screaming and yelling. I ended the conversation. We serviced 149 guests on the 30th of December of 2025.

TERRIBLE EXCURSION COMPANY!
Please do not book with this tour company. They are the lowest reviewed for a reason. I booked with this company the day before the trip because it said they had availability on the website. I received a call hours later after we had already booked flights from HNL to ITO for this excursion from JAY CHONG telling us they overbooked on their end and could not accommodate us. I informed him that we had bought flight tickets just for the excursion and he laughed at us over the phone and said that was not his problem. When we called him unprofessional, he hung up on us. I called him back trying to get him to cancel and refund us our 600$ he hung up on us again. I messaged them over the website and he would not cancel our booking nor refund us. He told us to figure it out with a third party company. Save your money and yourself from stress and do not book with this company. I have taken many excursions all over the world and have never dealt with such unpredictability and unprofessionalism.

Very Good Tour
We arrived in Hilo on the Holland America Noordam, and the company picked us up at the port making the connection very easy. Our guide and driver was Eddy, a Hilo native who was very knowledgeable about the island and local surrounds. The tour delivered as promised iwth visitation to local gardems and parks as well as numerous stops around the rim of the Kiluea volcanoe. My only complaint is that the van was definiotely older that I used to on Viaotr sponsored tours. Also the headset Eddy used squelched a lot. The tour provided everyone sandwiches and water, which we could eat at time of our making. I would recommend this tour.
