Amazing private tour to Chichen Itza

We did the private tour to Chichen itza with Manuel and it was amazing. What a day! We arrived early at Chichen Itza to avoid the crowds and Manuel guided us round with an amazing knowledge of the Mayans and the ruins. We then went to a fantastic cenote to cool off, this was beautiful and Manuel helped us to get some great photos. Nothing was too much for him. We then had a meal in Valladolid which Manuel had organised, it was delicious, We had great chats with Manuel throughout. He made sure we were comfortable the the whole day with water and snacks. Communication was great and it was the best tour we did in Mexico. I thoroughly recommend booking this private tour.

Definitely worth the money for this private tour upgrade

We had a fantastic trip to Chichen Itza with Manuel. The private tour was well worth the money for comfort, flexibility and excellent local knowledge and expert insight. A comfortable car with no time lost to hotel pickups, detours and waits for large groups like on other tours from our hotel. Afterwards we had a great lunch at a wonderful local restaurant and a visit to one of the best cenotes for a cool swim. Thoroughly recommended with an excellent host. Thank you

Response from the operator: Thank you very much Simon, we are very happy that you book our private tour to chichen itza and had the opportunity to visit the all archaeological site. You have new friends here in Mexico, hope to see you soon with all family. All the best for you!

Excellent private tour to Chichén Itzá – Highly recommended!

We(2 adults with a 2-years-old baby) booked a private tour from Hotel Xcaret México to Chichén Itzá (round trip), and the whole experience was absolutely excellent. Pablo took care of us throughout the entire trip and did an amazing job. He was very friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable about the history and culture of Chichén Itzá. He explained things clearly and patiently, and made the journey both informative and enjoyable. The service was perfect from start to finish — smooth pickup and drop-off, comfortable drive, and great attention to detail. We were traveling as a family, and Pablo made us feel very safe and well taken care of the whole time. Pablo’s wonderful service makes the trip super baby friendly. If you’re looking for a reliable, private, high-quality tour, especially from Xcaret, I highly recommend this service and Pablo. We would definitely book again!

Response from the operator: Thanks for a gret review. We are happy that you enjoy chichen itza with pablito. Hope to see you soon.

Con Manuel, todo sale perfecto!

Did the Chichén Itzá day tour with my family and it was awesome. Manuel was super friendly and made the whole experience fun and informative. For lunch, he took us to his favorite street food spot in Valladolid, where we had amazing tacos and tortas. The cenote was beautiful as well. Manuel knows the tourist schedules and timed everything perfectly so we avoided the busiest crowds. He even took photos and videos of us throughout the day. He spoke excellent French and English and taught us some Spanish. Highly recommend, especially with Manuel as your guide. Thank you for this amazing experience! - Félix from Montréal, Canada

Great Tour! Highly Recommend

We had a great time visiting Chichen Itza with Manuel! He was right on time and got us there early, which helped us beat both the crowds and the heat. Manuel did a great job explaining the history in a way that was easy to follow and interesting. He also took tons of photos and knows all the best photo spots. Overall, a super smooth and enjoyable tour. Highly recommend if you’re visiting!

Response from the operator: Thanks for taking time to write an amazing review. Is always a pleasure to show you part of México.

Visit to ChichEN itza in private without queues at the best price: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Playa del Carmen.

How much does Visit to ChichEN itza in private without queues at the best price cost?

+

Prices start at $150 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Playa del Carmen usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Visit to ChichEN itza in private without queues at the best price take?

+

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Playa del Carmen is not rushed.

Is Visit to ChichEN itza in private without queues at the best price worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Playa del Carmen, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Visit to ChichEN itza in private without queues at the best price?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Visit to ChichEN itza in private without queues at the best price suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Visit to ChichEN itza in private without queues at the best price?

+

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Playa del Carmen can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Playa del Carmen and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Visit to ChichEN itza in private without queues at the best price start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Playa del Carmen within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Playa del Carmen?

+

On Outty we rank every Playa del Carmen experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Chichen Itza from Cancun : Cenote, Valladolid and Mayan Cuisine, Ride to a life changing cenotes tour, From Playa del Carmen ATV Adventure with Ziplines, Cenote. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Playa del Carmen?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Playa del Carmen?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
