    1. The Blue Eye

We will explore the National Park of “Blue Eye” - an attractive tourist place, located in the village of Muzinë, near the national road Delvinë - Gjirokastër. It’s a very picturesque area, where crystal clear water gushes out from within the mountain Mali i Gjërë. This actual spring is the largest and a most interesting source among the other 18 springs that flow from Mali i Gjërë. It has been declared a Natural Monument and has oval shape similar to the shape of an eye.The spring has great depth, which goes up to 50m, and it’s surrounded by dense and lush vegetation. All in all, the area offers a great time out for adults, as well as for children.

    2. Lekuresi Castle

On this tour we will explore The Fortress of Lekuresi, believed to have been built in 1537, when Sultan Sulejmani attacked Corfu. The castle is located within the ruins of Lekuresi village, on the top of the hill, above the city of Saranda. It really is a strategic position where you can see the entire bay of Saranda, the road that leads to Butrint and the islands of Ksamil. In addition, you can also see the Island of Corfu. Many mishaps

There were so many mishaps with this tour I do not know where to begin. The driver was given the wrong time and did not meet us at the port. If it had not been for Port security making calls for us we would have given up on the tour altogether. When he was located we had to walk 10 minutes to his car. He did not have our names on a display card or any ID saying he was with the tour company. Last minute messages were sent but the port has no Wi-Fi and we were off the ship. We did finally take the tour but the driver, although he was nice and polite, had little to no information about our stops. The company was very nice during the booking process and the Blue eye was beautiful, and worth the ride but book with some else.

Response from the operator: Hello dear! I'm sorry for your energy. We have been communicating with you all the time by e-mail. We have sent you a message with the driver's number and contact details. It is not the agency's fault... that you were not available... and you not had internet. I sent the message about two hours before the tour.. I am copying it here.: Hello! Your guide for today is Marsildo. You will meet at the outer port gate. Your name will be written on the paper. His phone number is: +355692295495. You can also contact him on WhatsApp.

    Great cruise ship tour!

This is a great tour to do off a cruise ship. Just the right amount of time to get great photos. Perhaps stay away from politics.

Response from the operator: Thanks dear !Thank you very much! Our task is your satisfaction!

Visit The National Park of Blue Eye and The Fortress of Lekuresi: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Saranda.

How much does Visit The National Park of Blue Eye and The Fortress of Lekuresi cost?

    +

Prices start at $46 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Saranda usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Visit The National Park of Blue Eye and The Fortress of Lekuresi take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Saranda is not rushed.

Is Visit The National Park of Blue Eye and The Fortress of Lekuresi worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Saranda, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Visit The National Park of Blue Eye and The Fortress of Lekuresi?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Visit The National Park of Blue Eye and The Fortress of Lekuresi suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Visit The National Park of Blue Eye and The Fortress of Lekuresi?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Saranda can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Saranda and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Visit The National Park of Blue Eye and The Fortress of Lekuresi start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Saranda within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Saranda?

    +

On Outty we rank every Saranda experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sarandë: Small-Group Boat Tour with Swim Stops, Drinks & Parasols, Tour Gjirokaster,Blue Eye & Lekursi Castle, Saranda Boat Tour to Kakome,Hidden Cave and Beaches with Snorkell. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Saranda?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Saranda?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
