    Plan for being away all...

Plan for being away all day! It was a long day, but it was great. Jesus, Alfredo and our driver Guadalupe were outstanding. They were very knowledgeable about the history of Chitchen Itza. We would have loved to spend more time in Valladolid. One comment, the gas station were we stop to pick up transfers requires you to pay! Remember to bring some coins!

    Bad service

We were picked up by a local tour company bus at 7:10am, then we stopped 5-6 times near other hotels for other tourists, then we were taken to a shopping center where we waited for an hour and 20 minutes for other buses to arrive and finally we were put on a bigger bus to drive to…another shopping center where we were left for an hour to buy souvenirs and jewelry, after that we were taken to a local restaurant for a buffet lunch which was totally tasteless. We purchased a deluxe package that included lunch, drinks, cenote and Chichen Itza, but we did not get to swim or at least see the cenote. They cancelled it without informing us ahead of time. So everybody was wearing swimsuits and carrying towels when they picked us up from our hotels. When I complained, they told me someone would call me from the office, but nobody did. They gave us the wrong bracelets, so we could not get our drinks during lunch. I asked why and they told me that drinks were not included. We arrived and took a tour of Chichen Itza and then we were on our own for about 3 hours. We got to our hotel late, tired and disappointed. I have visited Chichen Itza before, but it was the first time for my husband. Unfortunately, I could not deliver my promise to him to swim in cenote and have a great tour because of the local tour company’s incompetence. The only positive experience was Tomas’s knowledge of history of Chichen Itza. We would like to get a refund for the services that were not provided to us though they were included in deluxe package when we booked this tour on TripAdvisor.

    Amazing tour

Everything listed was done but the only down side was that Suytun wasn’t the cenote but was replaced with a nice one. The tour guide was very attentive and taught us a lot of Mayan culture and language. Would definitely recommend

Response from the operator: Hello! we appreciate your comments and preference. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed our tour and had a wonderful day full of adventure and fun. We look forward to see you again!

    Visiting a moment in time

The tour guide was lively and had a lot of fun with his insights. He seemed to have a true wonder and respect for the site especially considering it his job. The sight itself is incredible, I felt I could have stayed all day enjoying its glory. The bagged breakfast was definitely not worth it but didn’t detract from the actual experience overall.

Response from the operator: Hello! Thank you so much for your preference and trust. Your comments help us to improve our service. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed our tour and had a wonderful day full of adventure. We hope to see you again in the Mexican Caribbean!

Visit Chichén Itzá, Cenote and Valladolid. Transport included: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tulum.

How much does Visit Chichén Itzá, Cenote and Valladolid. Transport included cost?

    +

Prices start at $10 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tulum usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Visit Chichén Itzá, Cenote and Valladolid. Transport included take?

    +

Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tulum is not rushed.

Is Visit Chichén Itzá, Cenote and Valladolid. Transport included worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Tulum, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Visit Chichén Itzá, Cenote and Valladolid. Transport included?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Visit Chichén Itzá, Cenote and Valladolid. Transport included suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 12-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Visit Chichén Itzá, Cenote and Valladolid. Transport included?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tulum can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tulum and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Visit Chichén Itzá, Cenote and Valladolid. Transport included start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tulum within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Tulum?

    +

On Outty we rank every Tulum experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tulum Ruins, Turtles in Akumal and Cenote tour, Tulum Guided Tour, Magical Cenote, Lagoon Snorkeling and Beachside Lunch, Chichén Itzá, Cenote and Valladolid with Lunch and transportation. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Tulum?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Tulum?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
