Anafiotika
Explore with us the hidden neighborhood of Anafiotika. This is the oldest neighborhood of Athens, what was actually a "built over night" neighborhood by its residents, the talented marble restorers of the ancient monument of the Parthenon and the Acropolis. Travel back in time, through the narrow streets that only a motorcycle can pass by. This neighborhood took its name from the island of Anafi. This is a picturisque neighborhood outside the common tourist map. We will share with you stories of the neighborhood while riding in narrow streets that ressemble a cycladic istand. About 65 residents live in this Acropolis neighborhood, in a scene that reminds of Mykonos. Narrow streets, white small houses with bougainvilleas and geraniums give a special color to the area. What the older ones considered a "poor man's paradise" that spoiled the aesthetics of the city today is a romantic spot that only a few are aware of. We will stop for photos.

We will enjoy the quiet alleys surrounded by traditional buildings & we will pass through Ancient Greek and Roman monuments. You will have the unique opportunity to experience this experience from the safe and comfortable seat of our sidecar. Our drivers are Athenians born and raised here. Plaka has a lots of picturesque and traditional spots for pictures and we will give you the ability to enjoy this unique ride in the pace you will choose. Plaka took its name from its Arvanite colonists during the Turkish occupation and in the Arvanites language it means old city. Today, it is considered a very chic neighborhood with traditional taverns, cafes and stores that are enjoyed by the Athenians and its tourists during the whole year.

What a FUN way to see Athens! 🇬🇷🏍️ I ride motorcycles myself, so being chauffeured around in Dimitri’s sidecar was a hilarious change of pace. For once, I got to enjoy the ride, take in the sights, and let someone else worry about the throttle! 😂 plus he was also a great photographer! Bonus 👏😎 Dimitri was fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience so much fun. Cruising through Athens by motorcycle and sidecar gives you such a different perspective of the city and is definitely more exciting than your typical sightseeing tour. Highly recommend, especially if you love motorcycles… or simply like the idea of sightseeing with a little more horsepower. 😜🏍️🇬🇷 Five stars from this very happy passenger! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fun and exciting way to see Athens
Exciting and fun way to see Athens! We were able to climb Lycabettus Hill, walk around the Panathenaic Stadium and tour the Plaka neighborhood. Dimitris and Dimitris were courteous and professional and ensured we had a memorable experience. Highly recommend!

The tour was educational and most importantly fun. We would highly recommend it. A sidecar tour is a great way to experience a city and get a great perspective of things. Our driver Dimitri was friendly, informative and patient. Once you take a sidecar tour you will want to do it in every city you visit.

Great way to see Athens!
Nothing better than to see Athens off your feet and through the eyes of locals! They zipped us through the best neighborhoods and to the 'must-sees' -- and when my elderly MIL (in the sidecar!) couldn't walk far enough to reach a museum during one stop, they pivoted and took us someplace else. Very accommodating, very knowledgable, very nice. Heads up: it's a bumpy ride (the streets of Athens need some attention) and the traffic can be brutal, but these guys navigate it with ease. Highly recommend!

An Absolute Must!
This was one of the highlights of our entire trip to Athens! There were three of us, including our 13 year old son. We were picked up directly at our hotel and immediately felt welcomed by Demetrious and Jorge. My husband and I rode in the sidecar while our son rode on the back of the motorcycle, and he thought it was the coolest thing ever. The tour was an absolute blast from start to finish. We saw the changing of the guard, the university, beautiful areas of the city we never would have found on our own, and some of the most incredible views of Athens, including breathtaking views of the Acropolis and Parthenon. The sidecar experience itself was so much fun and provided a unique perspective of the city. What really made the tour special, though, was Demetrious and Jorge. They genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience. They were friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and clearly passionate about what they do. It felt less like a tour and more like exploring Athens with friends who wanted to show us the very best of their city. If you’re visiting Athens, do not hesitate to book this tour. It was fun, memorable, family friendly, and unlike anything else we did during our trip. We would absolutely do it again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience in Athens.
