    Amazing Rides

Ride of a lifetime. Me and Salvatore, a friend of mine, organized through Mukesh this tailor made amazing 8 days trip from Kathmandu to the Upper Mustang with Hondas 250 CRF. We couldn't have been any happier about the organization and the support that we had from the whole group, Mukesh followed us with his boys though the whole trip and helped us out with the daily extra struggles of organizing everything else that wasn't riding the bikes and taking in the incredible views that we were exposed to through the whole journey. The chosen accommodations were super clean and surprisingly high standard considering the remote locations that we reached. We got to 4700 Mt on dirt roads and we come back with stories .to tell to family and friends. As i am writing I am thinking of which trip I am going to have Mukesh organizing for us next time. Thanks again Guys Lorenzo

Response from the operator: Dear Lorenzo Namaste! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience! We’re thrilled to hear that you found the accommodation clean and comfortable throughout the trip, and that you enjoyed the exhilarating ride up to 4700 meters Golf course—what an adventure! The incredible mountains views are truly something special, and we’re glad to made a lasting impression. It means a lot to us that you're already thinking about joining us again for another adventure. We’d be absolutely delighted to welcome you back and help create even more unforgettable memories. ride safe and keep exploring! Warm greetings from Himalayan Excursion Nepal Team.

Unforgettable trip well organized in every detail; thanks to Samsher for his professionalism and courtesy and to the Tsering guide and the driver for their extreme availability and preparation. They made my dream come true, beyond my expectations. I also thank Samsher for the wonderful travel companion I met in Kathmandu. An immense gift for the splendid human being that is Shneil.

Upper Mustang Tiji Festival Trek for 18 Days: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.

How much does Upper Mustang Tiji Festival Trek for 18 Days cost?

    +

Prices start at $2500 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Upper Mustang Tiji Festival Trek for 18 Days take?

    +

Plan for about 432 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.

Is Upper Mustang Tiji Festival Trek for 18 Days worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Upper Mustang Tiji Festival Trek for 18 Days?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Upper Mustang Tiji Festival Trek for 18 Days suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 432-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Upper Mustang Tiji Festival Trek for 18 Days?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 432-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Upper Mustang Tiji Festival Trek for 18 Days start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?

    +

On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Classic Everest Base Camp Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kathmandu?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
