We had a highly enjoyable...
We had a highly enjoyable experience with Max, our driver and tour guide. He was a warm and engaging individual, with a great personality that greatly enhanced our trip. He was patient and helpful, ensuring we had sufficient time to visit each location and take photographs. We had a fantastic time and created wonderful memories. However, the tour company's request for an additional $200 for Lake Moraine's parking was a surprise and felt unreasonable. Having paid in full a month prior, I found it surprising to be asked for additional fee the day before the tour. This was my first experience with additional payments on a Viator booking.

Wonderful personalized VIP experience!
We were blown away by this private experience for our adventures at Johnston Canyon, Lake Louise, and Moraine Lake! Max (our guide) was prompt, flexible, and despite poor phone service always easy to find! We changed plans midway to eat a little faster instead of sit down and he gave great recommendations. We felt VIP on this tour and he made a very busy day so perfect! Highly recommend!

Worth it private tour!!
Initially booked for 10 guests but I had to add 1 more guest last minute. Called the agency a day prior to the tour and Rachel was able to accommodate me. Booked the tour for my family and they all loved it. Caleb was our tour guide and Ron was our driver. I requested if they can pick us up and drop us off in our airbnb instead of the meet up spot, and they did. Caleb was very nice and sweet. He is very knowledgeable with the history of Calgary, Alberta and the national parks and lakes that we went to. He also gave us good recommendations for restaurants, photo spots and much more. Ron was also very kind and patient. We had some requests and extensions during the tour and Ron was able to do all of it. Since it was a private tour, Ron helped us with the schedule and time allotment which made the tour smooth. Overall, the whole experience was unforgettable and one of the best things that we did yet here in Alberta. Because of Caleb and Ron, the tour was smooth and convenient. We covered all the lakes and tourist areas that we wanted to see. It was tiresome but it was all worth it. Would definitely do it again and would recommend this tour and agency to anyone who wants to check out Banff. Thank you Caleb and Ron!!! Hopefully we’ll see you both soon!!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a detailed and heartfelt review of your tour experience! We are absolutely delighted to hear that you and your family had an unforgettable time exploring Alberta with Caleb and Ron. It’s wonderful to know that Rachel was able to accommodate your last-minute request and that Caleb’s knowledge, kindness, and recommendations added so much value to your trip. We’ll be sure to pass along your kind words to him—he’ll be thrilled to hear how much you appreciated his guidance! And we’re so glad Ron’s patience and flexibility made your private tour smooth and convenient, especially with the special requests and schedule adjustments. Both Caleb and Ron take great pride in creating memorable experiences, and your feedback truly highlights their dedication. We’re honored that you consider this one of the best things you’ve done in Alberta, and we’re so grateful for your recommendation. It was a pleasure hosting you and your family, and we’d love to welcome you all back for another adventure in the future! Wishing you all the best, and we hope to see you again soon!

The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Up to 14 guests Private Tour: Lake Louise、Moraine & Emerald Lake: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Calgary.
How much does Up to 14 guests Private Tour: Lake Louise、Moraine & Emerald Lake cost?
+
Prices start at $888 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Calgary usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Up to 14 guests Private Tour: Lake Louise、Moraine & Emerald Lake take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Calgary is not rushed.
Is Up to 14 guests Private Tour: Lake Louise、Moraine & Emerald Lake worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 47 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Calgary, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Up to 14 guests Private Tour: Lake Louise、Moraine & Emerald Lake?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Up to 14 guests Private Tour: Lake Louise、Moraine & Emerald Lake suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Up to 14 guests Private Tour: Lake Louise、Moraine & Emerald Lake?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Calgary can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Calgary and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Up to 14 guests Private Tour: Lake Louise、Moraine & Emerald Lake start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Calgary within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Calgary?
+
On Outty we rank every Calgary experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Explore Banff National Park Premium Day Trip, Discover Banff National Park - Premium Day Trip, Day of Dinosaurs & Hoodoos from Calgary to Drumheller Badlands. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Calgary?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Calgary?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
