The bridge is formed by the erosion of the limestone rock by the rushing waters of the Kicking Horse River behind what was once a more standard waterfall. Over time, the constant flow of water over thousands of years wore away at the rock, creating a hole in the limestone behind the falls. As the hole grew larger, the river began to flow through it, creating the tunnel that we see today. The result is a beautiful and unique natural structure that is truly one of a kind, and is a must-see when visiting Yoho National Park.

Beautiful Scenery, Great Memories, and an Excellent Guide!
We took this tour in late August with Reuben as our driver and guide, and he did an amazing job! He was incredibly kind, laid-back, and a very safe driver. He planned the day perfectly, getting us to Bow Falls before the first tourist bus even arrived! We also visited Johnston Canyon, Bow Lake, Peyto Lake, Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, and more. Reuben knew all the best hidden spots to avoid the crowds and took amazing photos of me and my family. The tour was well-paced and gave us a great introduction to Banff, especially for anyone wanting to return and explore these beautiful places on their own. We loved Lake Louise so much that we came back the following day to go canoeing! Our time at Lake Louise was slightly shortened because we had to pick up a small private tour group that was unable to access Moraine Lake, but that was just a minor hiccup in an otherwise amazing day. And the views from the Rockpile viewpoint at Moraine Lake were absolutely breathtaking! Overall, a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend Reuben!

Top-notch Scenery with A+ Guide
Rahul was our guide and he was fantastic! He was kind, funny, knowledgeable, prompt, and always willing to snap a photo for us! We really enjoyed spending our day with him! Although we visited during the shoulder season and were therefore unable to visit Moraine Lake and Johnston Canyon, the stops that were added were very beautiful and enjoyable! We highly recommend this tour company. It was a great day!
