Very "Foodie" tour
Prior to the tour, my husband hurt his foot. He was walking with a cane and having a very difficult time. I was in frequent contact with the providers and they were extordinarily helpful- that is the reason I gave them a 5 star rating. I think normally the distances between stops would be just great but we used a Taxi several times. The food was interesting. I kind of liked trying it, my husband hated it. It was a lot of weird stuff - scallops with crumbled octupus and mashed potatoes. Cow cheek and sweet potato. Something like an arancini but with squid black ink died rice, squid (that was really rubbery) in a smoky cheese sauce. We skipped the last stop. It would be fun if they offered a more typical Mallorcan food tour and then this one as a foodie tour. Maybe Mallorcan's eat this unusual food everyday, I will never know. Also, I missed the interaction with a live guide which allows me to get to know the people and the inside scoop on the way they live and eat everyday. Using the map and just walking from place to place looses that. As I texted them and shared that insight, they did say a guided, personalized tour was available on their website.
Response from the operator: Thanks so much for your detailed feedback! I'm sorry to hear that it was too exotic for you. Shame you didn't make it to the final stop, because a Spanish dessert paired with local vermouth might have made your husband at least a little bit happier! Definitely let us know if you're planning on coming back. We would be happy to organise a guide for you and assign a route with restaurants that serve less exotic dishes that I'm sure you'll love! Even your husband! Our aim is to offer a menu that's more mainstream rather than exotic, while showcasing the restaurant's cuisine. We really appreciate all your feedback and we'll definitely take it into account!

10/10 experience!
10/10 experience! Definitely worth the cost, and don’t feel rushed at any location with about a hour at each restaurant. The food was amazing and the wine was always good! We were the only ones doing it that night so it was very intimate which we all loved! The staff at each spot were lovely and we had some great conversations. Would definitely recommend!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for these loving words!! Super happy to hear that you had such a great time!

Amazing food tour - lots of food & great service
The old town food tour was amazing! Some great places to eat, lovely service and plenty of food and drink. You have 1 drink and a tapas over 4 restaurants but it’s plenty of food. I would really recommend this business as a smaller independent that cares. Always checking to see if we had the info and checking to see how it was. Please book with this company as I was very impressed. Would love to do it again if I return with friends to palma. Thankyou loved the whole experience
Response from the operator: We couldn't be more grateful for receiving words like this! So happy to hear that you had such a good time, and it would be an absolute pleasure to welcome you back on Mallorca (or even Ibiza?) soon!

Well worth it
The food tour was loved by our group! Each stop was unique and the restaurants were beautiful. We even managed to do this within the time our cruise ship was in port
Response from the operator: Thanks so much for these lovely words Jennifer! We can't agree more that it's the perfect activity if you're in town for only 1 day by cruise!

Excellent tour
The self-guided tour is excellent! Food and wine wonderful at each stop. Also enjoyed walking to digest, and seeing sights along the way.
Response from the operator: So happy you enjoyed it so much Janet! It was great having you!

Why this scores 77
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Unique self-guided food tour in Palma Old Town, Mallorca: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mallorca.
How much does Unique self-guided food tour in Palma Old Town, Mallorca cost?
+
Prices start at $75 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mallorca usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Unique self-guided food tour in Palma Old Town, Mallorca take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mallorca is not rushed.
Is Unique self-guided food tour in Palma Old Town, Mallorca worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 77 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 34 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mallorca, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Unique self-guided food tour in Palma Old Town, Mallorca?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Unique self-guided food tour in Palma Old Town, Mallorca suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Unique self-guided food tour in Palma Old Town, Mallorca?
+
Around 12 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mallorca can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mallorca and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Unique self-guided food tour in Palma Old Town, Mallorca start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mallorca within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Mallorca?
+
On Outty we rank every Mallorca experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mallorca Full Day Tour Valldemossa Deià and Sóller Experience, Best Mallorca Coves: Paddle Surf, Snorkeling and Guide, 3 Hours E-Bike Tour in Palma. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Mallorca?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Mallorca?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
