What you'll see and do
Palma de Mallorca
We will start our tour in Palma, a city that was founded as a Roman camp on the remains of a Talayotic settlement. The city was subjected to several vandal raids during the fall of the Western Roman Empire, then reconquered by the Byzantine Empire, later colonized by the Moors (who called it Medina Mayurqa) and, in the 13th century, by Jaime I of Aragon. From here we will start our route to the northwest of the island. Ready?
Pass by without stopping
Valldemossa
This beautiful Mallorcan mountain village, its ancient and cobbled streets, was once occupied by Georges Sand and Chopin, either to live or to visit, it should definitely not be missed. Its most famous attraction is the Monastery, the palace that belonged to King Sancho.

A must for people who want to hear and see the best of Mallorca
Great tour with a great tour guide. He gave us so much information on the history of the island on the way to the little city that was very interesting. Then walked us to the church and monastery telling us about the monks and Chopin. We walked through the buildings and stopped to hear a musician play a melody of Chopin's pieces for about 10 minutes which was beautiful. Then was taken to a pearl jewelry store where we entered a contest for a piece of jewelry which someone won when back on the bus. We had time to eat and shop. We highly recommend this tour and that wonderful man who guided it.

Beautiful Valdemossa Horrible trip
The pick up was very confusing, horrible experience. No map to go around the village Valdemossa is beautiful and a lot to see.
Response from the operator: Hello, Mora_B, Thank you for sharing your feedback. I’m sorry to hear that the pickup process was confusing and that your experience did not meet your expectations. We’re glad to hear you found Valdemossa beautiful, though it’s clear there were issues with the tour logistics. We appreciate your comments and will use them to improve our services. On behalf of the Fun&Tickets team, we apologize for the inconvenience and hope to have the chance to provide you with a better experience in the future.

Horrible experience
Horrible organisation. Never seen that (I travel a lot) A first time on Wednesday, July 24, the excursion was cancelled without telling us. We were told to come back today Friday, July 26 at 2 p.m. We called the company 6 times that told us to wait at a certain place. (with WhatsApp on video!) An hour after the bus still didn’t pass, we called again. The bus was in Valdemossa without us!!! Never choose TripAdvisor or Viator
Response from the operator: Dear Sylviane, We apologize for not having met your expectations. With regards, Fun and Tickets Team

Beautiful place...
The place is amazing, absolutely stunning and well worth visiting,a photo opportunity at every turn of a corner. Quaint little shops and cafes and the house of Chopin. We booked the trip with our hotel rep but the company who ran the tour is ridiculous. We were picked up on time with we were told 3 other pick ups, fine. Did two of them then we were just parked up and sat on the bus for 40 mins, no explanation why. Turns out we were waiting for people coming back from a morning trip to take them to their hotel. When we finally got moving, about 15 mins later, we pulled into the most awful car park that was had run down caravans / vans, the place just didnt look safe. We had to change onto another coach to take us to our destination. After two and half hours for a 40 min journey, finally got there to be told we had 2 hours then be back at the bus. The return journey was swapping buses again then onward to our hotel. If all the trips this company run are like this, its a wonder they are still in buisness.
Response from the operator: Dear Customer, We fully agree with you that Valdemossa is stunning and well worth visiting. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the delay on the pickup and the change of coaches. With regards, Fun and Tickets Team

Tour company hasn't got a clue; second tour they confirmed then cancelled
Booked thru Trip Advisor/Viatour. was confirmed and charged with directions to call for a meeting place the day before our tour. When we called as directed we were told the tour did not go on that day of the week but we could reschedule which was not possibe as we were on a cruise and only had that day. We had booked this a month in advance.we then took a cab to Valdemossa, a beautiful town and a highlight of our trip
Response from the operator: Dear Customer, We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the beautiful town of Valdemossa, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused for the cancellation of our tour. This was unfortunately due to reasons outside our organization. We have made a full reimbursement. With Regards, Fun and Tickets Team

Why this scores 51
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Valdemossa Half Day Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mallorca.
How much does Valdemossa Half Day Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $28 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mallorca usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Valdemossa Half Day Tour take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mallorca is not rushed.
Is Valdemossa Half Day Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.5/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mallorca, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Valdemossa Half Day Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Valdemossa Half Day Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Valdemossa Half Day Tour?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mallorca can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mallorca and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Valdemossa Half Day Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mallorca within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Mallorca?
+
On Outty we rank every Mallorca experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mallorca Full Day Tour Valldemossa Deià and Sóller Experience, Best Mallorca Coves: Paddle Surf, Snorkeling and Guide, 3 Hours E-Bike Tour in Palma. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Mallorca?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Mallorca?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
