Best decision I made during my Nepalese trip
Highly recommended. Best chance to see the Himalayan ranges & good communication from company. Good safety practices from Avia Club Nepal, which was an important point for me when I choose my activity and the company. Make sure you plan your mornings around this trip because the unpredictable mountain weather. I was with a group of 42 in Pokhara and everyone else went with a helicopter trip to the Annapurna base camp. As this trip three time longer in the air for less money, I choose this flight. The first day we could not fly because the weather. The second day we could and I was the only one from my big group who had seen the Himalayan range, the helicopter trips got cancelled. Captain Alex went beyond my expectations to make sure I will see the snow capped mountains. The scenery was majestic. He even treated the flight back as a scenic flight and did a low flight loop around the World Peace Pagoda and Pumdikot Shiva Statue. The entire flight and scenery recorded on a camera. For $15 USD, I have high quality memories for the rest of my life. The best decision I made during my 2.5 weeks meditation trip in Nepal to book this flight an activity. Note. The photos NOT from Avia, they are my average quality snaps.

+
On Outty we rank every Pokhara experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ghorepani - Poon Hill Trek 3N-4D, Annapurna Base Camp Trek -8 days, Annapurna Base Camp Treks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Pokhara?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Pokhara?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
