Must do tour!

We had an amazing time on this tour with Tania! We got to do so many varied activities in one day. We especially loved seeing the spider monkeys and the cenote that we had to be lowered down into with a harness--what an amazing experience. But really the entire tour was fun and interesting. Tania is both really knowledgeable and entertaining. Scheduling and communication beforehand was great. Highly recommend!

An amazing Mayan Immersion ! I recommand it 100% and it is worth every dollar !

We were a group of 10 persons on this private tour with Aloha. The experience was amazing from our pick-up at our hotel in Playacar until sunset when we came back. Jose our super smiling and very proffesional chauffeur drove us all day into the mayan jungle in a confortable mini van with A/C. Tania our guide did an amazing job ! She knows everything, she even speak maya 👌We started in Coba with our bicycles (those are so cool) I love Coba bruins because it is huge, in the jungle so you will get shade and there is so much to see there. After Coba we went to visit a Mayan community where we were welcomed by a very kind family. They gave us a tour of their property, showed us their art and music and offered us the purification ceremony with copal incent. the best part was the hive of the small Mayan bees that produce the best medicinal honey in the world, you definately want to taste it! Wow! All together we had lunch and right after that we hit the road again to visit Monkey sanctuary...they were there, swinging from branches to branches. We were blessed to see so many of them that day! We had the chance to grab a couple of canoe and ride on the lake which is surrounded by the jungle where once again the curious spider monkeys came to see us. We finished our day in an beautiful cenote where you had to rappel down to go swimming in the mystical cave filled with clear fresh water. This experience was over my expectation and would do it again. I recommand it 100% and it is worth every dollar ! Again, thanks to Tania, Jose and Aloha watersports tour's team, you guys are amazing! 🙌

+

How far in advance should I book Ultimate Maya Experience - Private Tour To Coba & Spider Monkeys?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Playa del Carmen can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Playa del Carmen and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

+

What are the best things to do in Playa del Carmen?

+

On Outty we rank every Playa del Carmen experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Chichen Itza from Cancun : Cenote, Valladolid and Mayan Cuisine, Chichén Itzá, Cenote and Valladolid with Lunch and transportation, From Playa del Carmen ATV Adventure with Ziplines, Cenote. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Playa del Carmen?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Playa del Carmen?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
