Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary
The Monkey Forest in Ubud, also called the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, is one of Bali’s most popular tourist attractions. Hands down the best guide & driver in Bali — Ask for Kadek! 🌴📸 Kadek didn't just drive us around Ubud; he curated the ultimate day trip for us! He got us to the Monkey Forest early for feeding time (zero crowds and amazing photos), snuck in a tour of his local community and a delicious coffee tasting on our way to a silver & gold making workshop, and then transformed into a full-on professional photographer at the rice terrace swings! When hanger struck, he instantly saved the day with an incredible full Indonesian feast at a spot with breathtaking views. We then explored the Water Temple, where his cultural and religious knowledge was second to none, before wrapping up the day at a waterfall where he showed us hidden, private photo spots away from the tourists. Fluent English, great humor, brilliant local insights, and a car with top-tier tunes—what more could you ask for? 10/10 experience!

One day tour of Ubud including pickup, entrance fees and lunch.
We had an excellent time. Mr Nyoman was a kind and knowledgeable driver and guide. Lunch was excellent. I was worried about the monkeys being aggressive but he took us to a place where they were very well behaved. The waterfall, coffee plantation and rice fields were all worth seeing.
