Natura Turquesa for anyone looking for a personalized, memorable adventure!

Our hotel recommended Natura Turquesa for our team's off-property excursion to the Tulum Ruins and a cenote, and it was an unforgettable experience. Our group of 12, all from the U.S., was in great hands with Joel as our driver and his cousin David as our tour guide. Both were incredibly accommodating and informative throughout the day. Joel even went the extra mile by purchasing a snack for one of our team members who is diabetic. David expertly guided us through the key points of the Tulum Ruins, providing fascinating historical context. Afterward, Joel took us to a stunning, secluded cenote where we had a private experience just for our team—it was truly a highlight. To top it all off, after a hot day of exploring, Joel surprised us with cold beers for the ride back, making it the perfect way to end the excursion. Highly recommend Natura Turquesa for anyone looking for a personalized, memorable adventure!

Best personalized tour experience!

Our hotel connected us with Sergio to take us on a tour to tulum and cenotes. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and were having a good time. He provided so much information and told us what not to do at certain sites. He was truly an amazing guide and a genuine person. I felt extremely safe with him and we ended up going with him a second day to swim with turtles and see a secluded cove. We loved Sergio and will be calling him for our next trip!

MOST AUTHENTIC AND BEST TRUSTED TOURS AT THE RIVIERA MAYA

We initially booked the Tulum and Cenotes tour with a stop at Akumal to see the turtles and we had the most amazing day!! Sergio is a wonderful guide, extremely knowledgeable and also one of the nicest, most welcoming and interesting persons we met in our Riviera Maya holiday. After this tour, we were so happy that we decided to book extra tours with Sergio - the Chichen Itza tour, where we had a full morning to explore it, with a lunch stop in an authentic Mayan restaurant with delicious local food (we were the only tourists) and a little stop at another Cenote - and he recommended that we go to Isla mujeres and explore the unique, beautiful turquoise water island. He took us to the ferry and advised us on the best things to do on the island. Without Sergio, our trip to Riviera Maya would have not been the same, and we 100% recommend him as the most trusted and best guide in the area! Muchas gracias por todo Sergio!

Great driver, great trip!

We used this for two days of our trip (one day of primarily cenotes, one to Tulum) and our driver, Dani, was absolutely amazing. She was so sweet and extremely helpful navigating us to our destinations, talking to ticket counters and tour guides (we speak almost no Spanish so her help was much appreciated), and telling us about the areas. She was lovely, accommodating, and our trip wouldn’t have been the same without her! Absolutely recommend.

Tulum & Cenotes Private Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Playa del Carmen.

How much does Tulum & Cenotes Private Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $1550 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Playa del Carmen usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Tulum & Cenotes Private Tour take?

+

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Playa del Carmen is not rushed.

Is Tulum & Cenotes Private Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Playa del Carmen, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Tulum & Cenotes Private Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Tulum & Cenotes Private Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 4. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 4-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Tulum & Cenotes Private Tour?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Playa del Carmen can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Playa del Carmen and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Tulum & Cenotes Private Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Playa del Carmen within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Playa del Carmen?

+

On Outty we rank every Playa del Carmen experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include VIP Chichen Itza Private Tour, VIP Tulum Private Tour, Chichen Itza Private Tour VIP. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Playa del Carmen?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Playa del Carmen?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
