Very good spa

Excellent package. Very professional spa and each element of the treatment was very good. Exactly what I needed after a long trek.

Pampering bliss!

Spa day with my daughter after trekking. Simply Bliss. Beautiful ladies, wonderful skills - 4 hours of complete relaxation and skillful massage and facial. Felt so refreshed and relaxed. Great value.

Great experience for a tired trekker!

This was a fantastic option for a trekker to destress and recover after EBC. Highly recommend this experience. The taxi driver for a bit lost but no big deal since I was able to give him the number to call in order to get specific drop off instructions. The scrub, massage, and facial were all relaxing and done very professionally. Great price point for services. After the services, they helped me to get a taxi back to my hotel as well. Go ahead and book this experience.. you won’t regret it.

Response from the operator: Hello Jessica. We remember your presence here at the heritage spa. And Thank you for being so honest in writing this review. This review will surely help fellow travelers. Once again, Thank you for choosing the heritage spa. Best, Reena Shrestha, CIDESCO Certified Aesthetician.

Best value for your money

This small spa offers exceptional service. Even if you haven't been trekking, I recommend their Trekkers Package (full body scrub, an hour massage, pedicure and facial). When I went, I included an extra hour massage for a total of two hours and it was fantastic. The cost for this 5 hour treatment was about the same for just a one hour massage at my hotel but I received so much more. My experience was so positive that I went back for a second treatment just before my flight out. One thing to consider is that the owner/manager is always on site. She has trained in Singapore and runs a massage school as well. Some places in Kathmandu advertise massage services but the people are poorly trained and you don't get professional treatment. In other words, beware of something if it seems too cheap. My first time there, the cab driver had trouble finding the location. It is next to the Kantipur Dental College (KDC). If you are looking at the front entrance to KDC, it is to the left at the end of the street, on the right. The receptionist was kind enough to tell the driver when to pick me up so everything went well.

I was in seventh heaven

It was simply incredible. The owner is very accommodating and friendly. The therapist found exactly my painful areas and was very sensitive. I had the sauna area completely to myself. I was able to relax more than I could imagine. I can only recommend this experience to everyone. The hygiene standards in the spa were very high. You get towels, a bathrobe, soap and enough water and delicious herbal tea. Very accommodating, very polite, very professional. I had actually booked the program: Taste of Heritage + sauna (you just can't specify it here on the website)

Response from the operator: Thank you, Julia. I appreciate your genuine review and you are always welcome here. Best, Reena Shrestha CIDESCO Certified Aesthetician. heritage spa.

Trekkers & Hikers Spa Package by Heritage Spa: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.

How much does Trekkers & Hikers Spa Package by Heritage Spa cost?

+

Prices start at $79 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Trekkers & Hikers Spa Package by Heritage Spa take?

+

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.

Is Trekkers & Hikers Spa Package by Heritage Spa worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Trekkers & Hikers Spa Package by Heritage Spa?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Trekkers & Hikers Spa Package by Heritage Spa suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 16. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 4-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Trekkers & Hikers Spa Package by Heritage Spa?

+

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Trekkers & Hikers Spa Package by Heritage Spa start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?

+

On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Classic Everest Base Camp Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kathmandu?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
