The best tour comapny in Turkey
There is no better Tour Guide than Fazli. His knowledge, time in the business and locations deemed to be seen are right for the tour. The other people on my tour as a group were just the right people to be with and thanks to our guide for seeing the benifit of having us together. The resturants, the hotels, the lunch stops, the driver for our tour were absolutely the best. My tour was with a small group and I would suggest this tour for maximum experience. If you are wondering if a tour of Turkey is the right one for you, when you make up your mind, go with Serendipity, no if's and's or buts. And tell them I sent you :)

Flawless Logistics and World‑Class Insight from a Passionate Tour Leader
This trip was exceptional from start to finish — world‑class sites, seamless logistics, great food, and a truly outstanding guide, Fazli Karabacak. Traveling in a small group made a huge difference. There was none of the “hurry up and wait” you get with larger tours. I only joined for 11 of the 14 days due to other plans, and Fazli adapted everything without missing a beat. Every transfer was handled smoothly, and we never had a single issue. Each day included one or two major archaeological sites, ranging from pre‑agricultural settlements to classical and early Christian locations. Standing in places tied to the Iliad and the Bible — places I’ve only ever seen in documentaries — was surreal. Fazli’s historical context at every stop elevated the experience far beyond a typical tour. Ephesus was the highlight for me. I’ve always wanted to see Rome outside the Italian core, and Fazli’s explanation of the city’s layout and design gave me a level of immersion I didn’t expect. That site alone exceeded my expectations, but honestly the entire trip did. There was so much to see, read, and think about. We stayed in 8 or 9 different hotels over 11 nights. All were clean, comfortable, and well‑located. Cocktails aren’t really a thing in Türkiye, but the beer and wine were excellent. Two non‑archaeological stops deserve special mention: A master potter’s workshop — yes, it’s a store, but it might as well be a museum. The craftsmanship was incredible. A rug atelier — the quality and artistry were jaw‑dropping. You could spend hours just admiring the work. The hospitality, cleanliness, and natural beauty of Türkiye were remarkable. We covered over 1,000 km of countryside and towns, and everywhere we went was verdant, welcoming, and full of history. Ruins and antiquities are simply everywhere. My wife chose Türkiye, and I’m so glad she did. We will absolutely be back — and we both agreed we would take this exact same tour again. It was that good.

Trip of a Lifetime Tour of Turkiye
3 weeks later we are still basking in the glow of the amazing Treasures of Turkey tour we took with Serendipity Tours. I can say without a doubt that this was the best trip I have taken in my many, well traveled, years. The itinerary is beautifully crafted to visit the UNESCO sites that were at the top of my priority list. Every day was an exciting adventure. What made this trip so special were the exceptional guide and driver team. Our guide, Ceylan Tuna, was everything I could have hoped for; extremely knowledgeable (she has a degree in archeology), warm, personable, caring, with a great sense of humor and so much fun to be with. The driver, Fevsi, was so kind and attentive. He made sure we were well hydrated, comfortable and well looked after. He is also a great foodie, picking all our lunch spots and, through example, pointing out what was the best thing to eat. Every single moment was carefully curated to ensure our comfort, safety and enjoyment of this amazing country. We will treasure our memories of these two magical weeks with Ceylan and Fevsi in beautiful Turkiye.

Fantastic Tour, Fazli Excellent.
We recently undertook a 2 week tour with Fazli of Serendipity Tours in Turkey. Turkey has some spectacular scenery and ancient sites and Fazli was able to tell us all about it. He is an expert in all aspects of Turkey and extremely knowledgeable. He and the driver knew exactly where to go and when to get there. He is also a very pleasant person who is willing to help if you struggle with difficult terrain. We would highly recommend Fazli to anyone who wishes to tour Turkey. In fact, we would say don’t even consider anyone else. He will take you to all the bests spots then a lot more that others don’t even know exist. Fazli adjusts to his guests’ needs and knows when and where to stop for toilets etc. We would highly recommend him for any Turkey tours.

Fabulous tour of Istanbul and western Turkey
We had the most amazing time on this tour. Fazli, the company owner/operator, guided us around the historic sites of Istanbul and western Turkey. He is extremely professional and knowledgeable taking time to provide lots of information, sharing stories and historical facts and making sure that we were always comfortable, well informed and enjoying ourselves. We booked this tour as it was recommended by friends who we shared the tour with. The most important for us was that it's a small group tour of a max of 8 people, which makes it very personal and much more enjoyable. The tour covered 3,000 kms over the two weeks so there is a fair amount of driving. The mini-van was very comfortable and air-conditioned, water was provided, the driver was very helpful and the days were always broken up by lots of comfort stops and breaks to see other things along the way. This was an in-depth tour taking us to some amazing places in comfort and we highly recommend it. Fazli was a fantastic guide and travel leader, thanks so much, we had such as great time. We are looking forward to joining you on your eastern tour of Turkey.

Why this scores 78
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Treasures Of Ancient Turkey Tour 14 Days Small Group: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Istanbul.
How much does Treasures Of Ancient Turkey Tour 14 Days Small Group cost?
+
Prices start at $4990 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Istanbul usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Treasures Of Ancient Turkey Tour 14 Days Small Group take?
+
Plan for about 336 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Istanbul is not rushed.
Is Treasures Of Ancient Turkey Tour 14 Days Small Group worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 78 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 49 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Istanbul, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Treasures Of Ancient Turkey Tour 14 Days Small Group?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Treasures Of Ancient Turkey Tour 14 Days Small Group suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 18. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 336-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Treasures Of Ancient Turkey Tour 14 Days Small Group?
+
Around 17 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Istanbul can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Istanbul and add a light layer if any part of the 336-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Treasures Of Ancient Turkey Tour 14 Days Small Group start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Istanbul within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Istanbul?
+
On Outty we rank every Istanbul experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best of Istanbul 1, 2 or 3-Day Private Guided Istanbul Tour, Istanbul Luxury Bosphorus Yacht Cruise with Asian Side Stop, ISTANBUL BEST: Iconic Landmarks Full Day PRIVATE Guided City Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Istanbul?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Istanbul?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
