Wonderful tour and tour guide!

Tolantongo caves and waters were wonderful and so beautiful. Equally was our tour guide Alfredo. He was a great tour guide, very personable. Gave us very interesting information as we travelled. Also helped us navigate the park-as some tours just drop you off. He knew the places to go and food to eat and was a delight! It’s a long trip, but worth it.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to write your review. We're glad sou much, to know that you liked everything about the Tolantongo Tour´s, as well as the services of our guide, Alfredo. This helps us a lot to continue improving every day. We want you to come back soon and enjoy another experience; there are many more places to visit. We look forward to your next reservations. Come back soon. Vive Disfruta Mexico.

The tour guide that were...

The tour guide that were going to take us out locally were very poor communicators and did not reach out to us until 10pm the night before our supposed trip. I dont recommend this trip at all.

Response from the operator: It's strange that you're saying that, since we work from 8 am to 6 pm, so we think you're referring to the wrong agency. On the other hand, we want to inform you that all our guides are fluent in English and their native language, Spanish, so what you're saying doesn't make sense either, since they all have certification from an institution, which allows our guides to communicate fluently in the language you choose. I suggest you check all our reviews from clients who actually traveled with us, and you'll see that we don't have any negative comments about what you're referring to. We advise you to verify where you booked and properly tag the company that let you down, instead of just mentioning it anywhere, as this could negatively impact our professional reputation. Amazing Experience

For more to see and do than you realize. This tour has no set schedule at the site so it is just you and your other(s) to explore as you wish (the best way to see the world). The guide Alfredo is outstanding, he is never far away if you find yourself in need of assistance and there is no pushing for certain restaurants, vendors or anything. It is truly your tour!! We had an absolutely amazing time!!! Would recommend above all other one day tours!!!!

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to write your review. We're glad to know that you liked everything about the Tolantongo Tour, as well as the services of our guide, Alfredo. This helps us a lot to continue improving every day. We want you to come back soon and enjoy another experience; there are many more places to visit. We look forward to your next reservations. Come back soon. Vive Disfruta Mexico.

My stay at Swiss-Belhotel Blulane was very comfortable and pleasant. The room was clean and cozy, and what really stood

During our stay at Swiss-Belhotel Blulane, one of the things we enjoyed the most was the amazing view from our room. We could see the city clearly, and it looked especially beautiful at night with all the lights. The view made our stay feel more relaxing and fun. Because it was so nice, we took a lot of photos to remember the moment. It was a great spot for pictures with friends. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, and the staff were kind. Overall, it was a memorable experience that we really enjoyed.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to write your review. We're glad to know you liked everything on the Tolantongo Tour, as well as your comments, which help us continue to improve. We want you to come back soon and enjoy another experience; there are many more places to visit. We look forward to any further reservations from you. Come back soon. Vive Disfruta Mexico.

You must Go to Tolantongo

Tour of Tolantongo was fantastic. Alfredo was very knowledgeable of the area and was able to give us some information about the history of the area. Tolantongo was beautiful, and definitely worth the drive to get there. It was something we never experienced before and very lucky to see and swim there! On top of Alfredo knowledge, he was very helpful with carrying our belongings for us and help us with directions of the park. He went above and beyond for us.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to write your review. We are glad to know that you liked everything they did on the Tour to Tolantongo, as well as your comments that help us to continue improving. We want you to return soon and live another new experience, there are many more places in Querétaro to visit. We are attentive to any other reservations from you. Come back soon, Vive Disfruta Mexico.

Tour to the Tolantongo Caves, starting from Querétaro: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for San Miguel de Allende.

How much does Tour to the Tolantongo Caves, starting from Querétaro cost?

+

Prices start at $1859 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in San Miguel de Allende usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Tour to the Tolantongo Caves, starting from Querétaro take?

+

Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in San Miguel de Allende is not rushed.

Is Tour to the Tolantongo Caves, starting from Querétaro worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 36 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in San Miguel de Allende, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Tour to the Tolantongo Caves, starting from Querétaro?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Tour to the Tolantongo Caves, starting from Querétaro suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 10-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Tour to the Tolantongo Caves, starting from Querétaro?

+

Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in San Miguel de Allende can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in San Miguel de Allende and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Tour to the Tolantongo Caves, starting from Querétaro start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central San Miguel de Allende within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in San Miguel de Allende?

+

On Outty we rank every San Miguel de Allende experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tacos and Tequila Walking Tour with Taste of Miguel, Half Day Excursion - Horseback Riding Adventure in SMA, Historical and Cultural Walking Tour of San Miguel de Allende. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit San Miguel de Allende?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in San Miguel de Allende?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
