Another wonderful day in Oaxaca, with a great guide.
Daniel our great driver and guide arrived on time to our Airbnb and took us to Monte Alban where he explained a lot about this beautiful world heritage. Then he drove is to a small village where we met Angelico Jimenez who explained us all about Tona (better known as alebrijes), how they are made, material, colors, everything. Then we went to Raúl in Casa Pochote who told us all about woolen tapestry. After that Lourdes told us all about Mezcal in El Rey de Matatlan and we tasted the most delicious Mezcal I'd ever tried. Last but not least we went to the Tule tree, which was really impressive and beautiful. We had a wonderful day!!!
Response from the operator: gracias por visitar Oaxaca y por compartir su experiencia con nosotros.

Great and friendly guided tour of Monte Alban!
This is a full day which balanced an in depth guided visit of the historical site of Monte Alban with visits to local artisans and artists keeping traditional crafts and production methods alive. Yareth made an excellent guide and companion for the day and was exceptionally helpful in her willingness to accommodate my interests and requests. Would heartily recommend this tour!
Response from the operator: Muchas gracias. saludos desde Oaxaca.

Wonderful tour!
Yareth was an incredible guide! She really made the whole experience worth it. She is very passionate about Oaxacan history and culture which meant she was able to give us a very authentic and informative experience. She answered all our questions and made the whole experience great all around. As for the stops- Monte Albán was breathtaking and the Alebrije and textile workshops were so impressive. We also really enjoyed seeing the tree and had lunch at a delicious restaurant. We had a wonderful time and recommend this tour 100% to anyone with only a short amount of time in Oaxaca!
Response from the operator: Thank You. Yareth
