About this experience

The overall ambience on the Xunantunich & Cave Tubing tour is that you get to experience the best of both worlds, from exploring the ancient Maya Site and the underworld. Seeing broken pottery; a spectacular sinkhole in the middle of the cave that had lush green flora looking like some mystical entrance to another world out of a dark cave; swimming in the cave's crystal clear waters is allowed & jumping off of a peak within the cave straight into a pool of cold fresh water is only a few highlights . We create a welcoming environment for all our guests, what starts out as yet another expedition, quickly turns into what felt like a reunion of friends having a good time in the caves and jungles of Belize. Tukan tours and adventures provide a travel experience with a welcoming twist! One would go as far as saying that we strive to provide the true Belizean travel experience not only highlighting the attractions at hand, but giving participants a taste of true Belizean hospitality.

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit San Ignacio?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in San Ignacio?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
