Super Trip
The tour was super. Our guide was very friendly and showed us beautiful places. We could contact him with any question and he recommanded super restorants and aktivities in Tirana. We learnd a lot about the city and the view at the end of our hike was amazing (even on a rainy day). Only the way up was quit tricky (hiking shows are important). We would definatly do this trip again.
Response from the operator: Hello girls! Thank you very much for the excellent review. We are very happy that the tour went fine on such a rainy day and our guide was helpful to you. I hope we can see you again in Albania. Greetings from Albania My Way Team!

Amazing trip to Tirana and Bovilla Lake
Amazing trip to Tirana and Bovilla Lake. Learned a lot about the Albanian history and culture in Tirana. Bovilla Lake is a must see - so beautiful and the drive from Tirana to Bovilla Lake through the mountains is also a big experience! Could definitely recommend the trip! Also huge kudos to our friendly and informative guide, Eni. Greating from Denmark
Response from the operator: Dear Christine, thank you very much for your magnificent review! We hope to have you back in Albania and show you more about our country. We wish you all the best!

Incredible view
The trip started with a walking tour in the center of Tirana, the guide Eni explained a lot and shared interesting knowledge. During the city tour we visited the most important buildings and attractions that Tirana has to offer. I'd recommend you to do the tour at the beginning of your stay in Tirana, otherwise parts of the tour will be repetitive. Afterwards we went into the car and drove towards the Bovilla lake. As I was the only participant we had a good chat on the way there. After an hour we arrived and after a short hike we were rewarded with an incredible view over the lake and the reservoir. It was amazing to be the only group of people there, usually such places are packed but not here. We stayed on the peak for some time to take photos, enjoy the view etc. and eventually drove back to Tirana. Overall a very interesting experience and a good mixture of city and nature.
Response from the operator: Hello Sebastian, as your guide I'm very happy for your great review. We are trying to make our best to show our country and make you feel at ease with our culture. Wish to see you again in Albania, kind regards Albania My Way Team!

Fantastic scenery and a great hike
Great experience you don’t wanna miss when in Tirana. Only 30 minuts away from the city you find yourself sorrounded by the most beautiful nature. The hike was fantastic and our guide Alban very nice and full of humour - we laughed a lot on our way to the top. Took lunch at an authentic restaurant at the top - def worth a visit! ♥️🤗

Why this scores 63
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Tirana Walking Tour and Bovilla Lake (3-6 Pax): questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tirana.
How much does Tirana Walking Tour and Bovilla Lake (3-6 Pax) cost?
+
Prices start at $112 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tirana usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Tirana Walking Tour and Bovilla Lake (3-6 Pax) take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tirana is not rushed.
Is Tirana Walking Tour and Bovilla Lake (3-6 Pax) worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tirana, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Tirana Walking Tour and Bovilla Lake (3-6 Pax)?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Tirana Walking Tour and Bovilla Lake (3-6 Pax) suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Tirana Walking Tour and Bovilla Lake (3-6 Pax)?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tirana can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tirana and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Tirana Walking Tour and Bovilla Lake (3-6 Pax) start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tirana within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Tirana?
+
On Outty we rank every Tirana experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include From Tirana / Durres: Gamti Mountain and Bovilla lake Day Trip, From Tirana- Hiking Tour to Bovilla Lake & Gamti Mountain, Berat Cooking Class- Traditional Albanian Cooking Class /By Vato. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Tirana?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Tirana?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
