Great value for this tour
Did the tour end of August with the guide Erando. Pickup was on time, then we went to other pickup point to get the others traveler. We had a van, I'm tall so I need enough leg room, fortunately this van had the last row with enough leg room for me, but the other seats didn't which would have been problematic if those last row seats weren't available. We went to the lake then climb up all the way up, it was very hot, so it's very important to have comfortable shoes, lot of water, a hat and UV screen. When we arrived at the restaurant level we were close to the top, the path is slippery and kinda dangerous so be careful. On the top there is multiple point of view, and one really dangerous on top of a rock you have to climb to be able to take the best photos. The time allowed on top was 2h, which is a bit too much , 1h30 would have been already plenty enough. There was a restaurant but I didn't eat there, it was crowded, hopefully near it was some trees with shades so I waited there. The van trip was really bumpy and quite uncomfortable near the mountain, and while in Tirana there was lot of traffic jam as usual. The van had fans with cold air , it helped a bit. The guide Erando was funny, shared interesting informations, tried to bond with everyone, and had fun with us from time to time. Drop location was really close to the one in the morning. Overall great value

Beautiful views, challenging short hike
Views were unbelievable. Hike was challenging due to the amount of loose rock but totally doable. The reward of course is the view from the top of the hill. Restaurant was a nice way to end the day. The vehicle was kind of shabby, too warm and tight leg room. But you should still try it if that's not a show stopper.

Terrible
⭐☆☆☆☆ If I could give this tour less than one star, I would. First, although the lake itself is beautiful, I don't think the destination is worth the trip. There are virtually no services around the lake, with only one restaurant located at the far end of the mountain. Overall, the experience did not justify the long journey. Second, I was extremely concerned about safety. The driver openly admitted that he had consumed four shots of rakia that morning before driving. Whether he was joking or not, this is completely unacceptable and should never be taken lightly by a tour operator. Finally, the tour guide, Erando, showed very little concern for the group. During the hike, he walked far ahead at a very fast pace, leaving many participants behind. As a result, several people lost the hiking trail, creating an unnecessary and potentially dangerous situation. Overall, this was one of the worst tour experiences I have ever had. I cannot recommend this tour due to the poor organization, lack of professionalism, and serious safety concerns.

Lake Bovilla amazing experience
From the first minute we met our tour leader Erando we felt very welcome and at ease. The experience is fantastic and worth the 2km uphill climb. Once at the top of the mountain the view is phenomenal. Erando explainer every single step of the tour and was always of support. I was with two kids and they felt very included as well with his welcoming personality even though most probably my daughter drove him crazy. Highly recommended tour leader Erando and the tour itself

Go! Go! Go!
Good and fair Price. The guide Irvi wrote to us and made sure to pick us up on time. Irvi has good humor and is very friendly. We were informed on the plan for the tour, and had a really good experience. Expect a bumpy ride and beautiful view.
