Great Tour, well worth it
Great, easy way to see Bovilla Lake, much better than driving as most rental companies won’t let you drive the dirt road up. The tour guide Antonio (Toni) was excellent, he was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Climbing experience
Our guide Luis was very professional but still funny, kind and available for any question. I’m not really the type of person that likes climbing that much but I had a very good time. I would really reccomend it.

Marvelous landscape, nice escape from rushy city
Travel from Tirana is pretty fine, from Durres I find it a bit difficult because of heavy traffic and possible long traffic jams. Local guide and driver are fine, the Albanian roads can be tricky. The trip was great, pick-up near the place where we stayed in Tirana worked very well. The guide tried to cheer up the group and explain basic things about Albania. The explanation was entertaining and good for new comers, the people who have already known things about Albania didn´t learn much new stuff. Half day trip is fine, the countryside around Bovila lake is incredible, the landscape marvellous and definitely worthy. The climb to Gamti mountain is pretty easy, it can be crowded in the early afternoon time. The communication with Viator and local guide went smoothly and was helpful, booking and paying the trip safe and correct. We were really happy to experience this.
