Therme experience
Had the best day at therme with a friend we arrived at 8:30 to an already growing Que. Go up and book treatments before you do anything we was probably 10th in the queue and was told there was only 6 treatment slots left and all were the more expensive treatments.Plenty of beds around. Must say the treatments are definitely worth it had a Malagasy massage with Michael which was incredible being that I’m a therapist he was very thorough and the pressure was just right. Also had the extreme hyaluron with Anna skin was left feeling incredible. Would definitely come back for another weekend. Prices were extremely reasonable. I will say we didn’t realise it was a party evening so was expecting it to quieten down but it ended up so extremely busy come 19:00.
Response from the operator: Dear Traveler, Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We’re delighted to hear that your day at the spa turned out to be such a memorable one. Arriving early is indeed a great tip, especially for securing treatment slots — they sell out quickly, just as you noticed. We’re glad you enjoyed both the Malagasy massage with Michael and the Hyaluron treatment with Anna. It’s wonderful to hear such professional appreciation, especially coming from a therapist yourself. It’s also true that party evenings get much busier later in the day, so your feedback will surely help future guests plan better. Despite the crowded evening, we're happy the overall experience, prices, and services impressed you enough to consider returning for another weekend. Thank you again for choosing our booking services, including door-to-door transfers — we hope to welcome you back soon for another relaxing visit! Regards,

Overrated!
Overrated! They just pack you in, way too busy and could be organised much better. If you are going to at least quadruple up on the people to sun bed ratio then have a time limit so every one can get a chance to sit down rest on a sun bed. No last minute treatment slots, you have to book at least several days in advance. Rude unhelpful staff especially brutish security, expect to wait a long while for bar drinks then when asked where they were, denial from bartender who took the order then and having to purchase again not good. It’s Not a peaceful restful enjoyable spa day. No where in the same league as the Blue Lagoon in Iceland. Avoid as there are much better activities to do in Romania.
Response from the operator: Dear Traveler, Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. Therme Bucharest can get very busy during peak hours, and this can impact how relaxing the day feels. Your observations regarding sun bed availability, treatment reservations and staff interaction are truly valuable for improving the spa services. We also recommend visiting in the morning, when the atmosphere is generally calmer. Weekdays tend to be even less crowded — a great option if it fits your schedule. If you return to Bucharest, we’d be happy to assist you with private tours and personalised experiences that offer a more comfortable and enjoyable pace — feel free to book with us anytime. Warm regards,

One of the best Spas in Europe 👍👍
I had an amazing time at the thermal spa! The water baths actually sorted my back out, which was a huge relief. I loved the variety of saunas since they all have different temperatures perfect if you're a sauna lover like me. The waterpark was a lot of fun, but I also really enjoyed the outdoor pools and the pool bar; the cocktails were lovely. It does get busy, but I'm glad I went midweek because it's apparently much better than the weekend. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone!
Response from the operator: Dear Traveler, We are delighted to hear that you had such a wonderful experience at Therme Bucharest and that the warm baths even helped with your back — that’s fantastic news! The variety of saunas, the outdoor pools, and the pool bar truly make the place special, and we’re glad you enjoyed all these different areas. Visiting midweek is indeed the best choice, and we’re happy it made your time more relaxing and enjoyable. Thank you for recommending the experience to others — it means a lot to us. We hope to welcome you again soon for another great day of wellness and fun. Warm regards,

Not worth the time, energy, or money. NEVER AGAIN
Booking through Viator was easy — they handled everything seamlessly, which honestly was the best part of the experience. Unfortunately, the Therme itself was a major disappointment. It was overcrowded, and finding a place to sit was nearly impossible. The saunas were constantly being interrupted by guests ignoring the posted attire rules, which meant staff kept coming in every few minutes — completely ruining any chance to relax. When I arrived, I was told to book massages upstairs, but when I went to book massages we were told they were sold out. Overall, this place seems more geared toward people who want to drink in warm pools all day rather than those looking for a true spa or wellness experience. Definitely not the relaxing atmosphere I was expecting, and I won’t be returning.
Response from the operator: Dear Traveler, We’re sorry to hear that your experience at Therme Bucharest didn’t meet your expectations. While we’re glad to know that the booking and private roundtrip transfers through Viator went smoothly, we completely understand your disappointment regarding the crowded atmosphere and the issues you encountered with the sauna rules and massage availability. Therme can indeed become very busy, especially during weekends or holidays, and it may feel less relaxing than anticipated for those seeking a quiet spa setting. We always recommend visiting on weekday mornings or afternoons for a more peaceful experience and better access to wellness facilities. We appreciate your feedback — it helps us improve how we set expectations and guide future guests to make the most of their visit. Kind regards,

Had a fun time at Therme and smooth transport, but disappointed — Viator’s price was almost double the real cost
The visit to Therme Bucharest was definitely fun, and both the pickup and return were comfortable and well-organized. However, the price charged by Viator was extremely high. When I arrived at Therme, I checked the prices directly, and the same package cost half of what I paid through Viator. Even after including the average cost of round-trip transportation, it would still have been at least €90 cheaper to book it on my own.
Response from the operator: Dear Traveler, We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed your time at Thermal Spa Bucharest and that the transfers went smoothly. We truly appreciate you sharing your feedback. Please be informed that when booking through third-party platforms such as Viator, TripAdvisor, or Booking.com, prices may vary depending on the included services. These platforms provide valuable benefits like book now, pay later, free cancellation up to 24 hours before the visit (for refundable bookings), multilingual customer support, and the convenience of securing your spot in advance. Additionally, our package includes private round-trip transportation—not a shared bus—provided by professional drivers, with flexible hotel pickup and return times tailored to each traveler’s preference. This ensures a comfortable, door-to-door experience designed for convenience and relaxation. The price reflects these added services, as well as the platforms’ operational costs. We appreciate your understanding and are glad you still enjoyed your day at Therme Bucharest. Warm regards,

Why this scores 56
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
THERME "Take It Easy" Pack: Full Spa Access + Private Transfers: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bucharest.
How much does THERME "Take It Easy" Pack: Full Spa Access + Private Transfers cost?
+
Prices start at $117 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bucharest usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does THERME "Take It Easy" Pack: Full Spa Access + Private Transfers take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bucharest is not rushed.
Is THERME "Take It Easy" Pack: Full Spa Access + Private Transfers worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 119 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Bucharest, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule THERME "Take It Easy" Pack: Full Spa Access + Private Transfers?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is THERME "Take It Easy" Pack: Full Spa Access + Private Transfers suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book THERME "Take It Easy" Pack: Full Spa Access + Private Transfers?
+
Around 42 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bucharest can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bucharest and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does THERME "Take It Easy" Pack: Full Spa Access + Private Transfers start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bucharest within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Bucharest?
+
On Outty we rank every Bucharest experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Real tour of Communism, Bucharest Highlights Walking Tour, Top Gear Road, Small-group max 7 pax with Pick-up, Transfăgărăşan. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Bucharest?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Bucharest?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
