A Great History Lesson of Bari
Kara was great giving us all the history of Bari and showing us round. Although the food was great we initially had an ice cream however it was a long time until our next food stop then there was 3 tastings of carbohydrate dishes all in the space or 30mins. It would be great to have spread these stops out more evenly during the tour.

Great variety of food....
Great variety of food. Our guide was Barbara- very nice and informative, captured our attention the whole time and just an amazing guide overall. And a great way to see and experience Bari if you don’t have a lot of time
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the variety of food and had such a great experience with Barbara. It’s lovely to know that her knowledge and engaging way of guiding made the tour even more enjoyable. We’re glad it was also a perfect way for you to discover Bari in a limited amount of time. We hope to welcome you back again soon!

An amazing tour with food and local sites most miss.
Giancarlo was an amazingly enthusiastic guide for this adventure. Who better to show you Bari and select street foods to sample than a well educated, young man from Bari, drawing on his own life experience. Fantastic historical stops in Bari coupled with well chosen food choices. A plus!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We are delighted to know you enjoyed exploring Bari through its history and authentic street food. It's especially rewarding to hear that Giancarlo's enthusiasm, local knowledge, and personal connection to the city made your experience so memorable. We will be sure to share your kind words with him. We hope to welcome you back to Puglia again soon! Kind regards, The Velo Service Team

Viviana was a wonderful guide! Food tour was a waste of time.
Viviana was a wonderful guide. The Old City is lovely and we were given history information as we went. We were the only English speaking couple on our tour. Although Viviana gave us information, for the 5 minutes explaining to us, she spoke to the other Italians in our group at least 3x longer wherever we went. That part was disappointing. The food was good, altho unnecessary. The walking tour was 2 hrs which included a piece of focaccia. The food tour was an hour an consisted of a stop for a small plate of several delicacies, followed by fried pizza pocket (could have done without) ending with gelato. This part of the tour was a waste of money.
Response from the operator: Dear Bobbie, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed discovering Bari with Viviana and appreciated the history she shared throughout the tour. We're sorry that some aspects of the experience did not fully meet your expectations, particularly regarding the balance of explanations and the food portion of the tour. Your comments are valuable and will be shared with our team as we continuously strive to improve the experience we offer our guests. Kind regards, The Velo Service Team

Why this scores 83
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
The Original Street Food Walking Tour in Bari: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bari.
How much does The Original Street Food Walking Tour in Bari cost?
+
Prices start at $57 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bari usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does The Original Street Food Walking Tour in Bari take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bari is not rushed.
Is The Original Street Food Walking Tour in Bari worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 83 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 240 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Bari, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule The Original Street Food Walking Tour in Bari?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is The Original Street Food Walking Tour in Bari suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book The Original Street Food Walking Tour in Bari?
+
Around 84 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bari can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bari and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does The Original Street Food Walking Tour in Bari start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bari within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Bari?
+
On Outty we rank every Bari experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Bari’s Ultimate Street Food Tour - Small Group by Do Eat Better, Boat Tour of the Polignano a Mare Coast with Aperitif, Polignano a Mare: Boat Tour of the Caves - Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Bari?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Bari?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
