    Fully satisfied

Driver’s English is good, and he was always polite, puncture and attentive to our queries. The car arranged was very spacious for the three of us, including our laggages. Our expectations were exceeded.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind review! We're so happy you enjoyed your experience. Have a safe trip, and we hope to welcome you again.

Private tour between Phnom Penh and Siem Reap

Our guide Polan arrived 20 minutes early with the air conditioner on and cold water ready to go. We felt safe the entire trip despite heavy rain as we arrived in Siem Reap. The commentary and stops were great, we enjoyed the insect village, bridge, bamboo rice and black bean stops.. The highnight was lunch in timber huts above the lake…

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind review! We're so happy you enjoyed your experience. Have a safe trip, and we hope to welcome you again.

    Ok but a bit boring

The car was comfortable and the driver was pleasant but it is just not a very interesting 7 hour drive. Our car broke down so we were delayed an hour but we were at the Spider Market so it wasn't so bad. I would prefer to fly if I had to travel between Siem Reap and Phnom Penh again.

Response from the operator: We apologize for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your feedback. We hope that you will give us another opportunity to serve you in the future and provide you with the exceptional tour experience you deserve.

    A memorable and convenient drive

This was a great way to break up the drive between Siem Reap and Phnom Penh with a few fun stops that didn't add too much time to a route that will otherwise take the better part of a day. Thon is a friendly conversationalist who kept it interesting throughout by sharing insight into life in Cambodia that I wouldn't have gained if I'd just booked someone to transport me from point A to point B. I'm grateful for it. Do yourself a favor and schedule this one to get more out of the trip than you would otherwise. I promise you won't regret it.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind review! We're so happy you enjoyed your experience. Have a safe trip, and we hope to welcome you again.

The Journey Phnom Penh to/from Siem Reap: A Memorable Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Phnom Penh.

How much does The Journey Phnom Penh to/from Siem Reap: A Memorable Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $57 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Phnom Penh usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does The Journey Phnom Penh to/from Siem Reap: A Memorable Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Phnom Penh is not rushed.

Is The Journey Phnom Penh to/from Siem Reap: A Memorable Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 64 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Phnom Penh, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule The Journey Phnom Penh to/from Siem Reap: A Memorable Tour?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is The Journey Phnom Penh to/from Siem Reap: A Memorable Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book The Journey Phnom Penh to/from Siem Reap: A Memorable Tour?

    +

Around 22 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Phnom Penh can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Phnom Penh and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does The Journey Phnom Penh to/from Siem Reap: A Memorable Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Phnom Penh within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Phnom Penh?

    +

On Outty we rank every Phnom Penh experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half Day Tuol Sleng S21 and Choeung Ek Killing Field Tour, The Killing Field and Toul Sleng Genocide Museum (S21) Tour, Killing field and Toul Sleng genocide museum Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Phnom Penh?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Phnom Penh?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
