Great insight and practice 🧘♀️
The yoga and meditation session was great and I found the pranayama most beneficial for myself. Before starting the session we walked around the Stupa and Santoshi explained the history and meaning of it. The reiki healing was lovely at the end of the session. Santoshi is a kind person, I felt comfortable with her and she was great at explaining and answering any questions I had. I wish I had taken a pen and notebook so be sure to take one with you…I added notes to my phone so I could remember everything 😊 Having read the previous review regarding the timing spent on yoga and being disappointed; The simple way to avoid disappointment is to be vocal about what you want. Santoshi is happy to accommodate your needs and does ask regularly, whereas I was happy to go with the set itinerary. Just say what you are wanting to focus on and no one will leave disappointed. This session is just a small step in starting a journey and it’s up to us to carry on, practice and learn more…do not expect Santoshi to turn you into a Yogini Master in 2.5 hours 😊 enjoy it
Response from the operator: Hi Sacha, Thank you for your wonderful review and glad that Santoshi able to give you good yoga course. We love to welcome you again in next time. Have a wonderful time in Nepal.

Disappointing
The description of the schedule did not match reality. While the tour offered on Viator 2.5 hours of yoga, the yoga teacher had a different arrangement and she stopped somewhere much less than 1.5 hours, mor like at 1.25 hours I found that very disappointing. It is not only about money, also about time. If I had known, this would be such a short class, I would have planned something else for that day. The yoga class itself was ok, but not new for people, who are used to practice yoga. I give 2 points, as the driver was in time and the yoga teacher a nice person.
Response from the operator: Hi Karin, Sorry to hear that our Yoga instructor was not able make you 2.5 hrs. It is actually 2 and half hour tour but it was our mistake written 2.5 hrs (we should need to mention 2.3 hrs) which i will amend now. Plz let us know if you want to do this tour again complementary that we are ready to compensate if you have extra time in Nepal. Hope you will understand our writing mistake. Namaste!

I had a wonderful time experiencing...

I had a wonderful time experiencing meditation in such a peaceful environment where I genuinely felt in touch with the teacher. His energy radiates and makes you feel welcomed. It's also in a busy area but doesn't distract your yoga, which is explained move by move. Feel free to take ask questions!

We do look forward to provide more service in coming days and feel free to take our any service. Have a nice day!

Why this scores 52
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
The Boudhanath Yoga Experience in Nepal: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.
How much does The Boudhanath Yoga Experience in Nepal cost?
+
Prices start at $100 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does The Boudhanath Yoga Experience in Nepal take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.
Is The Boudhanath Yoga Experience in Nepal worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 52 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule The Boudhanath Yoga Experience in Nepal?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is The Boudhanath Yoga Experience in Nepal suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 11. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 4-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book The Boudhanath Yoga Experience in Nepal?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does The Boudhanath Yoga Experience in Nepal start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?
+
On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Classic Everest Base Camp Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kathmandu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
